Alicia liked getting together with old teammates from her Hogwarts days. It helped to be married to one of them, but she grew close to Angelina as well. The get-togethers were sporadic, but always memorable, especially since George integrated into the otherwise all-girl meetups. Aside from the occasional for fun Quidditch matches, attending a game, or reminiscing of previous victories on the pitch, Alicia never expected that the old team would start rubbing off on each other.
Angelina and Alicia went to order take-away in person at a local Muggle restaurant for their movie night, a suggestion Angelina made to shake up their otherwise predictable get together activities, but what they were unprepared for during the forty-five minute wait and five-minute travel time was Katie and George exchanging their more obnoxious talents between them.
Alicia recently told Angelina one of Katie's more irritating hobbies was practicing an accordion of all instruments.
"George has a tendency to spontaneously want to juggle bizarre things," Angelina stated.
What they were met with back at the flat no one would believe.
"What were we thinking leaving them together?"
Katie, eyes fixated on her task, juggled the freshly bought ugli fruit from that morning in the kitchen entryway. The wheeze of an accordion was heard coming from the couch mixed with what could pass as singing from George.
"What in Merlin's name are you doing?" Alicia asked, gaping at her wife.
Angelina echoed the words at George with hands over her ears to soften the harrowing sound coming from the instrument.
"Learning to juggle with ugli fruit," Katie stated, stealing a glance at Alicia before she dropped one of the fruits that was caught by Alicia.
"Well, it's certainly ugly to watch," Alicia said, smiling. Approaching Katie, she gave her wife a peck on the cheek. "Yet you do manage to make even the strangest of things amusing and sweet."
"It's not as ugly as this," Angelina hissed under her breath, half-glaring at Katie as she reluctantly listened to George's song he wrote for her.
Once the horrifying thing stopped making noise, George had the biggest grin on his face as he looked at his wife. "Isn't this thing amazing? Katie even said I could keep it!"
Alicia held in a smirk, knowing that the poor accordion was going to finally meet its untimely end, and she wouldn't have to be the one doing it.
