The wish
Freddie's POV
I was in a bad mood. Sam had wrecked my bag. Again. And now my mother was shouting at me because my bag was wrecked.
"Do you know how much time I spent sowing your name into that bag! And now it looks like garbage! What if something important was in it like your anti-itching cream?" I had told my mother that the itch had stopped but she still believes it will come back stronger. I was about to leave when she said "it".
"Freddie Benson, you are not allowed to do icarly this week as your grounded!" My mother shouted at me. My jaw seemed to connect with the floor.
"WHAT!" I shouted back at her. She recoiled slightly but I still continued.
"I'm grounded! For something I didn't do? That's it! You treat me like a 5 year old child when I am 15! I wish I had never been born!" And with that I stormed to my room and slammed the door. I wanted to hit something, but what? My brown eyed gaze fell onto the china rabbit my mother made me last week. I felt so happy when my foot connected with its face.
When I calmed down I went to apologize to my mother but she wasn't there. However there was a small guy eating our food. He seemed so happy and was humming a Christmas carol under his breath.
"OI!" I shouted and he turned startled. He had a black beard, was about 5 foot 2, looked like a Christmas elf and a piece of ham hanging out of his mouth.
"Freddie you scared me!" he spluttered as he swallowed the ham slice. I took a step away from him and towards the phone. One good thing of my mother's over parenting is that 911 is on speedial.
"Hhhhow do you know my name? I asked him. He then began to laugh uncontrollably. This man was off his nut. At times like this I wished the blond haired demon Sam with me. He then picked up a picture of me and Carly. We had recently started dating and it had pride of place on our table.
"Because I am your angel! "He told me. I started to laugh. I must be dreaming my mind reasoned.
"Yes and I'm your new car "I muttered sarcastically. He gave me a look and produced a sand timer from his pocket. As he turned it the sand changed colour and became water. For the second time that day my jaw connected with the floor.
"As I said I'm your angel and I'm here to grant your wish" He told me seriously.
"What wish?"
"The I wish I had never been born wish" He said. I was sure I was dreaming now so I just turned and walked off saying, "Goodnight, I believe I am asleep" My imagination may be playing tricks on me but I swear he shook his head.
The next morning I woke up to my mother, with a baseball bat. She swung it towards me and I ducked out of the way just in time. The bat connected with the bed with a loud thunk!
"Mom why?" I shouted as she readied herself for another swing.
"Who's this mother?" She said, "I don't know you"…..
