Yin and Yang

She was attracted to darkness,

evil things,

destructive beings.

He was attracted to light,

angels and stars,

benevolent things.

They were both lost in the world,

wandering blindly through doors,

waiting to find something that

mattered.

One day, they ran into each other

in the maze of life

and were immediately attracted to each other.

If only irony didn't exist.

She didn't want to be stuck in the darkness

forever.

she couldn't help but fall in love with the

darkest being of all.

He didn't want to be bad,

but darkness stuck to him like

glue.

He loved that she shined into his

dark world.

But she didn't want to love

darkness,

it never ended well.

So she left.

He was broken, but he refused

to give up.

He thought their love was

enough.

She couldn't stop loving him,

even if she wanted to with her

entire being.

She was attracted to the darkness

inside of him.

He was the evil in her,

and she the good in him.

They were attracted like

magnets.

Written in the stars

some would say.

But she just wanted to forget the way

he made her

feel.

She hadn't felt in a

long time.

He hadn't felt the sun

for ages, she was his

sun.

She meant everything to him.

She felt so

empty

without him. But she didn't

want the darkness to

consume

her again.

All he wanted was for the light

she carried, to spread to him.

He wanted to be

good

again, if he ever was.

Their love is a constant

tug-of-war,

back and forth, neither giving in to the other.

But you can only fight so long

before the darkness overcomes

you.
