Hi everyone. I know I should be writing a chapter for "You can't buy love or can you" but this idea just came to my mind a day ago and knew I wouldn't be able to work on anything else until I put this on paper. Any way I don't own sailormooon and somewhat the plot to this story, I got the idea from a Spanish soap I was watching and thought that I can use some of its idea for this story. Any hope you like it.

Darien POV.
The place was wonderful. The sun was about to set giving Ann a heavenly glow around her. This was the perfect night to pop the question. We have just finished eating our meal at one of the fanciest restaurant ever, the Moonlight Café. As soon as we were done I suggested a midnight stroll on the beach. Why the beach? The beach was were I first met Ann. She was drowning and I recuse her. From the moment our eyes met it was love at first sight. Six month later I knew this would be the right time to pop the question.

Ann: Of course I do, Darien.
Darien: Well than I just have one more question to ask you.
Ann: What is it?
Darien: Ann, would you make me the happiest man alive and be my wife?

Finally after months of waiting, Darien would be mine. I will finally be able to live the life I always wanted. I would finally be out of this hell hole.

Sandra: Darien dear, I have some urgent news to discuss with you.
Darien: Can't it wait until later, Mom.
Sandra: No it can not.
Darien: Fine! Just give me a sec. ( picks up cell phone). Hi Ann. This is Darien. I am just calling to let you know I going to be a little late for our date. I am having a mandatory meeting with my mother. I will be there as soon as possible. Love you. Bye. So what is so urgent that you are making me miss my date with Ann.
Sandra: Darien, please have a seat.
Darien: No thanks mom, I am fine.
Sandra: You won't be saying that in a couple minutes.
Darien: Ok mom, now you got me worry. What is it.
Sandra: Darien, we just hit bankruptcy.
Darien: Mom, it is not time for jokes.
Sandra: Darien, I am not kidding. I just receive a message from my lawyer. He claim that went your father die last month, he only left enough money to paid for the bills and even that is not enough.
Darien: How can that be. We are millionaire.
Sandra. Even the rich can become poor. Darien, I don't know what to do. How are we going to survive? I don't know any other way to live. Plus I am to old to get a job. What are we going to do? Tell me, Dare! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO.
Darien: Don't worry mother, I am sure we can come up with something. There have to be something we can do.
Sandra: There only one solution we could come up with.
Darien: What is it mom? I will do anything just tell me what it is.
Sandra: You will have to marry well.
Darien: You got to be kidding me.
Sandra: Darien it is the only way. Beside my lawyer said that he have a client who would be willing to marry you.
Darien: I am not going to marry a stranger. Don't you understand? I am in love with Ann. Plus we are engage as it is
Sandra: Oh Darien, don't be foolish. Everyone knows Ann is just after your money. Once she find out your broke she will leave you ASAP.
Darien: You have no right to talk about Ann that way.
Sandra: I am sorry, Darien but you are going to have to face the truth sooner or later.
Darien: I don't care what you said. Ann love me for who I am. Plus I am not going to marry a complete stranger. I will only marry for love and Ann is the love of my life. End of discussion.

If he thinks I am going to marry him now that he is broke, he got to be kidding me. Sorry dare, don't take this personnel but I didn't come all this way to marry someone from a lower rank
Ann: Zack!
Zack: What is it miss.
Ann: I want you to pack my things.
Zack: Ah, you are going on a trip.
Ann: A permeant one. So please hurry it up will you.
Zack: Yes madame.
Ann: Oh yea one more thing. After I am gone for an hour please deliver this letter to Darien.
Zack: As you wish.
Ann: That would be all.

Sandra: Darien, a letter just arrives for you.
Darien: I wonder who it from.
Dear Darien,
By the time you read this I would be long gone. Our time spent together have been wonderful and I won't trade it for the world. But I am a girl with needs. Needs that you can no longer fulfil. I need someone who I know can support me and not have worry about where ours next meal shall come from. I just can't live like that again. Please forgive me, Darien. I never meant to hurt you. I hope someday you will be able to forgive me and we can remain friends. Until then.

Darien: You must be satisfied mom. You were right. Ann was just after my money.
Sandra: I am sorry Darien. I just wish I wasn't right. You can say there was apart of me that was hoping I was wrong.

Sandra: I am sorry dear, but we can't put everything on hold just cause you need some time to think. The world doesn't work like.

Love sucks. Not to mention it doesn't exist. How could I have been such a fool? Will not any more from now on there is going to be a new Darien. Once who takes responsibility. And what not a better way then to start by helping my family finical wises.
