Jethro lay in hospital after an explosion, his head bandaged and his eyes closed. Jenifer Shepard entered the room and sat down beside him, she had only gone to get a drink. She had been there ever since he was admitted to hospital.
The beautiful red headed woman took the hand of the man she loved, and held it to her lips pressing a kiss to his callous skin.

Jethro looked down, "Kelly?" he enquired, hoping that it wasn't what he was thinking
Jenifer sighed, "I'm sorry" she said softly as she wrapped her arms around him letting the usually strong man cry on her shoulder
When he calmed, she pulled back slightly and pressed her lips to his triggering a memory flash
