Lilies to Lily
Lily has had enough. She and James have been walking in the woods for almost an hour and haven't got anywhere. The Potter Mansion was way far away already and the only thing she wanted at that moment was one of its comfortable red living room couches.
"James, are we getting there?" she asked in a sly voice.
James abruptly stopped walking and smiled to her.
"Actually, Lily, we are already here."
He stepped aside and her jaw dropped. They were on the edge of an enormous field covered with yellow lilies.
"James…this…this is wonderful!" she said out of breath.
"It reminded me of you," he answered, kissing her neck from behind.
Recovered from the initial shock, Lily looked at him, gave him a roguish smile and took off running. The lilies brushed her knees and she could hear James's laughter behind her.
She couldn't be happier! When two strong arms entwined her waist, Lily thought she was in heaven.
And lying in the flowers with the boy she loved, she concluded that heaven couldn't be way better than that.
