Lucy POV
I was running late on my first day of sophmore year of highschool. Great. Starting off The new year with The teachers already hating you is not very good.I quickly throw on my black leather jacket which completes my outfit of a gray halter top that says "I think I'm in love" and my dark blue Jean shorts, with my Brown cowgirl boots. I walk down The stairs and my mum is sitting at The island in The kitchen, drinking her morning coffee. "Honey, your late for school!" Sh says. I give her a look that says 'No duhh mum' and walk out The door to my "baby". My car is an old crapy jeep, that is a faded black. I get in and start The car and instantly cover my ears because The radio is up so loud it could wake The dead. Literally.
When I pull into The school parking lot I park in my usual spot and jump out slamming, and locking my car door. I quickly Run up to The entrance and just as I'm about to reach The door, I Run into Nicholas. I stumble backwards and fall right on my ass. Nicholas runs over with his brothers and sister following behind like lost dogs. He bends down and picks me up so that I'm standing up and he says "Clumsy much, Luce?" with a wink. I hear Sol say "ewww" and then fake puking sounds. I smirk and lean up and kiss him. I pull away and run off and shout behind my back "Love you Sol!"
I walk into my second hour class which just so happens to be English. Mr. Young looks at me and says "Late on The first day are we, Miss. Hamilton?" "I'm so sorry Mr. Young!" I say with an innocent look on my face. He just snorts and motions for me to sit. In walks Nicholas, Quinn, and Connor. Nicholas sits next to me and I smell his manly scent.
Nicholas POV
Lucy was on vacation with her parents all summer so this is The first day in like two months that any of us have seen her! We all missed her a lot. Sol had kept in touch with her over The time and so have I but we still missed her a lot! Now back to reality. I have liked her since my change and she didn't know. All my brothers would tease me about it which really got on my nerves. But, now we are happily dating and I couldn't be more happy. She glances up at me and I wink at her and smirk. I can smell her blood rushing to her face. Her scent washes over me in a slight cinnamon and vanilla smell. I feel The ache in my gums as my fangs want to make an appearance. I have to swallow hard and resist The hunger. It slowly dies down as class continues.
We walk out of The class and I see Lucy standing at her locker with another girl. I then see Sol and we make our way over to her but I see her jogging up to Lucy and then I hear squeling and they are hugging each other. I get over them my brothers close behind. The hallways are empty save for The occasional kid running to lunch and us. We are standing behind Lucy and Sol looks up and says "Uh-oh" Lucy looks alarmed and says "What? What's wrong? Is there something on my face as she pouts and runs her hands lightly over her face and hair. That was The most adorable thing ever. She then turns around and I hear Quinn whistle and I have to resist The urge to hit him. "Hey there asshats!" Lucy says cheerfully. "Hey there, Lucky.." I say back to her. "Ugh don't call me that, Nicky" she says and then drags Sol off.
Ok, so this is my very first actual fanfiction that has actualy been written up and uploaded.. Please excuse any spelling mistakes! Oh, and about the story, I made it like in the show Vampire Diaries, where the vamps have rings that allow them to go in the sunlight. Some of the information about Lucy and/or the Drakes may be wrong.. oh who am I kidding, I know its wrong lol. Anyways, please R&R and let me know if I should continue it!
