A/N: In honor of Valentine's Day I decided to write a poem about our favorite geekduo from Grissom's POV. I've never written a poem before so I hope it doesn't bite or sound too corny lol. This poem is not beta'd so any and all mistakes are mine. I hope you enjoy it.
Wherever We Are
Wherever we are
Near or afar
No longer will we be apart
For you are my heart

As the night needs the moon
and the day needs the sun
All I need is you
You are my only one

I hold you tight in my embrace
Your tears of happiness stream down my face
Cheek to cheek, Heart to heart
Our happily ever after is about to start

"You are my family", I whisper to thee
You pull back and smile, "but soon there'll be three"
My body fills with pride, my eyes shining bright
Life is so much better, living in the light
