Okay, this is my first fanfic so I apologize if there are any mistakes or if it doesn't make sense :)

Kims pov

I was at school, then, suddenly, someone covered my eyes. I jumped but quickly relaxed when I heard a familiar voice say "Guess who" I turned around and saw Jack. I gave him a quick peck on the cheek.

"Hi!" I said casually

"Hi?! That's it? Just hi for the greatest boyfriend ever?" He said pretending to be offended.

"Ok.. How about-" I was cut off by a loud crash coming from the science lab. The fire alarm went off and Jack and I started running towards the exit. Than everything went black.

I woke up in a hospital. I tried to move but I couldn't. I was in so much pain. It hurt to breathe. I was thinking about my friends. Are they even alive? Then I heard someone open the door. I saw that the person was wearing dark blue scrubs so I figured he was an attending. I hoped that it was my dad because he was a doctor. I tried to talk but the doctor stopped me.

"Honey, don't talk. You were in a fire. The school collapsed and many people got hurt." He said.

I started panicking then I woke up.

"Thank God it was just a bad dream." I sighed in relief.

I thought about the beginning of the dream. Jack was my boyfriend? I mean I always had a crush on him but I don't think he likes me back.

I looked at the clock by the bed. 3:15. I had a few more hours of sleep. I had a hard time falling asleep but when i finally settled my alarm rang. Lucky me.. What terrible way to wake up. I took a quick shower and got ready or school. When I came down to the kitchen I saw a note on the counter. It was from my mum. "I had to leave early for a meeting, I'll be back by lunch. Love, Mum :)" Ughh.. Now I have to walk to school. I grabbed an apple and took my phone. I had a text from Milton: Did you study or that biology test today? Oh no. I forgot. This day couldn't get any worse.

I took my bag and went to school. When I got to school I saw the gang by Jacks locker. They were laughing at something Jerry said. I went to them.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Hey Kim" Eddie and Milton said. Jerry just stared at me and Jack looked really nervous. I was about to say something but Eddie cut me off

"Jerry and I have to get to class early. We cant be late for English again"

"And I... have to... umm... Meet Julie in the... lab." Milton stuttered. I looked at him but he just ran away. Jack was even more nervous than before.

"Listen Kim." Jack started. "I have to ask you something." I nodded for him to continue. "I-I liked you for a long time and I was wondering if you would like to go on, like, a date?"

I just stood there frozen. I didn't know what to say, I mean the boy of my dreams just asked me out, Jack asked me out. I couldn't believe it. I was about to answer when Jack said

"I'm sorry. Forget that I said anyth-" I cut him off with a kiss. When we broke apart he smiled and I blushed.

"I'll take that as a yes." He said smirking.

The bell rang and we headed to class. On our way our fingers intertwined. This was a beginning of something special. And I thought that this was gonna be a terrible day.

Okay. That's it. My first story. It's not really good and it's super short but I wrote the beginning of this story about six months ago and i decided to finish it and post it here. Anyway thanks for reading my story and please review and tell me what you think. Constructive criticism is welcomed :)

And also I was going to write this with an OC so this was supposed to be in her pov but I didn't know how to introduce a new character so I just put it in Kims pov.
