never as it seems:
My vision is fuzzy, black creeping into the corners narrowing my line of sight. Overhead the naked bulb flickers occasionally crackling and popping. I took a few tenative steps. the floorboards complaining wherever my feet landed. It felt as if a frosty finger trailed across the back of my neck. I shivered swiveling around slowly my eyes met with nothing but air and the flickering bulb in a desolate hallway. My gaze stayed on the hall behind me until I turned back around my gaze slowly going to where Im walking. I took another careful step the board splintered and cracked beneath my foot. Startled I lifted my foot testing a different board before putting my my weight on it. I continued walking. A few steps later i was certain i felt a clammy hand run through my hair.
"Whoth there?" I whispered casting a nervous glance over my shoulder. The light n the hallway dimmed to the point of where i could barely see. I ran my hand along the faded peeling wallpaper. A hand jerked my sleeve . Once Twice. Three times . I directed my eyes down a female troll stands there pale solid brown eyes sending a warning through my head. Tiny broken horns barely cleared her stick straight black hair ratty dress barely brushing her knees.
"SSolluXX, aRe YoU looKiNG For KarKAT?" the girl said her vioce liting and sweet s's hissing a little. Without waiting for my answer she took my hand in her icy one eading me down the hallway in a strange zigzaggy pattern. Opening a door i didnt see before.I stepped in my black sneakers catching on a loose board. I winced when a sound of bone on bone made my teeth hurt. I caught sight of Karkat. The noise forgotten. a steady stream of candy red blood drips from his arm pooling on the floor. I lifted his chin my fingers acccidentally probing the bloody gaping hole in his neck previously hidden by his drooped head. The hole is so deeep you can see his spine I gagged angry grief stricken and - scared is an understatement im terrified
"O-oh g-go-og kar, who diid thiith to you?" I whimpered
"I did !" THe child giggled the voice no linger titteri ng and sweet it now sounds gravelly and , the biggest number you can think of times worse than a SOBER JUGGALO. I spun on my heel filled with rage. When i saw the creature i screamed a gurgling stomach churning sound.
"Holy thiit!" I cried. the dirty cjhild has morphed. Long red stained blades thet taper into points drag on the groungd a grating sound pulsed through my teeth. Im paralyzed with fear to terrified to even glowing brown eyes and long fangs dripping with brown venom. It peirced my chest with it's blade. When it tore it back out i screamed feeling as if i were being turned inside out. As i coughed it faded into a bubbling gurgle, mustard yellow blood pouring from my mouth. Im looking down on myself now. A hand rests on my shoulder I whirled eyes widened in fear. It diminished into relief. Karkat.
"Kar ith that you?" i asked
"YEAH SOL IT'S ME LOOK" He said and we could do nothing but watch as the creature lured the other ten of our friends to thier deaths. Nothing to do but watch as terezi, aradia,gamzee,nepeta,kanaya,viriska,equius,tavros,eriden,feferi all screaming one by one joining us at the ceiling our bodies neatly lined p against the wall. I gave a gut wrenching scream falling to the floor finally awake.
