Life is Strange: A Tale of Friendship
A small LIS oneshot I was asked to do by Marina Ka-Fai, this time document a friendship that is seen only briefly in the series, Warren's friendship with Alyssa, so, I gave it my best shot, here we go :)

It was a funny thing, Warren Graham couldn't help but note, shortly after proposing to his beloved, Maxine Caulfield, shortly after she said yes, they of course started telling people. After telling their families, the first person Warren spoke to was the first friend he had made upon arriving to Blackwell; Alyssa Anderson. Max had been curious when he explained that, wondering about the friendship Warren and Alyssa shared. Warren knew Max was friends with Alyssa too and yet, the three of them had never really hung out together. Still, Warren gladly indulged her curiosity.

He recalled how they first met; it had been his first day at Blackwell. He had been lost, awkward and once again, his obvious nerd status might as well have painted a target on his back for the jocks and or just plain old bullies. It had been at one point, when he found himself cornered that Alyssa appeared. She had berated the bullies who were startled that even the usual taunt of 'needing a girl to fight his battles' wasn't uttered. They had departed and she had come to his aid, that had been his first meeting with Alyssa Anderson.

It had been a relief to have a friend; Blackwell was a daunting place when he first arrived. Alyssa helped him find his way around, helped him meet other people, like Stella Hill and Brooke Scott. It didn't take long for him to find the confidence to become his usual self. Much to his surprise, his newly found confidence led him to returning the favour, despite his nervousness at getting into a confrontation, helping Alyssa dealing with her own bullies. She had smiled when he managed to talk them down, had jokingly said that they were even now.

Despite what people had thought over the time of their friendship, nothing romantic ever happened between them. Despite what that graffiti in the science lab said, there was nothing romantic between them. When Warren met Max and his crush began to form, Alyssa surprised him by being the first to notice and gently teased him about it. Yet she showed support, subtly and when they finally got together she had given them both a knowing smile and simply said, it was a bout time. It was around that time he realized how close their friendship was, Alyssa was one of the people who understood him.

That friendship had endured through the years and now, here he was, preparing to marry Max. Telling Alyssa about it, she was happy for them and not only that, she was more than willing to help. Warren had grinned, more than happy to see Alyssa helping out. Friendship like the one he had with Alyssa were rare and as such, he valued it highly.
