Where are we going?

Zoro would follow him everywhere, and Luffy knew that. He knew how much trust Zoro had in him and that there wasn't a moment of hesitance in his movements when it came to following an order. Zoro put all his expectations in him, maybe even more so than the rest of the crew.

Zoro had been with him the longest, and he knew Luffy like no other did. Zoro knew of his whims, his recklessness, and above all, his strength. And he believed in him without a shred of doubt.

This principle worked both ways; Luffy knew he didn't have to drag him along, because Zoro would have followed either way. The swordsman would have chased right after him and not leave his side until Luffy said so.

Luffy didn't have to put Zoro into a headlock and take him with him. But it happened in the spur of the moment, and he'd felt like it and thought it was fun. In the end, Zoro didn't mind and let himself be dragged for a while.

It was just Luffy, after all.

However, Law hated it and struggled in vain. He'd never have thought Roronoa would lower himself so far to let Strawhat carry him around! Law would never understand their weird captain-first mate relationship.

(Zoro: 'What relationship?! He's my captain!' And that explained it.)

When Peeka moved his giant sword to attack Luffy from behind, Luffy didn't act concerned or even twitched a single muscle.

He just called out to Zoro,

"I'll be moving ahead first," and left the rest to the swordsman who knew what to do. He'd already prepared himself for the fight; he'd waited for it, because his captain was an open book to him.

They had their personal conversation way before they climbed Peeka's arm. And they hadn't needed words for that.

Luffy smiled to himself as they dashed on ahead. Zoro would always have his back.

"Where are we going?"

"Straight on!" (I'll definitely beat Doflamingo!)

"Alright." (I know.)
