Chapter 1: Breathe

"Breathy, thorny and smooth...Damn Prince..."
"Such presumptive thoughts." The brunette's tongue lounged off each syllable, brow raised for effect.
Pearly strands pricked against his cotton collar,slim figure wobbling with numb shock. Electric delicacy chewed through the marrow of his bones as the whisper stroked the fullness of Zero's cheek.
"Not playing that game..." Shoes crunched against the stained snow as the ebony drabbed silhouette ventured behind an oak.
"Then don't hide." The pure-blood's lips pursed.
"I have lost myself."
"......." Mingling with the glacial forest, Kuran chirped; arms outstretching and folding like wigs.
Prowling, cherry orbs reflected separate powdered flecks. Drifting, Kaname, leaned against the auburn bark. Shadowy lashes lowered as his breath puffed into clear smoke.
" Breathe Kiryu." Mercury eyes lingered.
"This is monotonous..." Zero swallowed hard, fists clinched against his sides.
"Did I stain you?" Tawny orbs peeled the glass steel from Zero's gaze.
Head drooping as a warm puff exited from the hybrid, his gaze blurring about the forgotten forest. Deteriorating logs and tiny pebbles lay quietly beneath the sugary semblance of the Earth; wintry, opaque and bleached.
" I can't breathe. Not with you...near you, thinking about you, nor touching...you.." Zero fell silent.
" Are you asking me to relieve you of my presences. Of our...engagements?" The brunette panted with emotion. Flesh warming with the thought of the other.
" I feel unsafe." Teeth brushed together, Zero swallowed stale air.
" Just breathe." Handsome features curled as Kaname circled Zero.
"...I..am not real...I-"
" Just breathe." Bony digits wrapped around Zero's chin, Kaname's frame fading with the snow.
Pale lashes trembled as his lungs filled with air. Lips quivered within the embrace. Imbibing the algid bistered-haired male, Zero sucked the oxygen from Kuran's chest. Tongue writhing inside the hot cavern, Kiryu bit down. Whining, the hoary-haired male smashed the brunette against the tree, swallowing and suckling the battered pure-blood.
Separating, Zero gasped. Head dropping once more his eyes widened to the single drop of ruby at their feet. Blooming into the crystal bank the spec grew in Zero's vision.
"...Better?" The pure-blood's eyes held back weakness, the malaise that he suffered from the presence of the hybrid.
" I have lost myself again..." Kaname sighed.
"Do I need to break you? Wrap you in...solace?" Zero shuddered.
He reached over, fingers intertwining with Kaname's. Tilting his head to the side a strangled wonder absorbed his features.
Statues of sin stood serene as a laden tempest of sleet smothered them. Jackets and pant legs fluttered in the gust as nature forced the warmth from her bosom. A wicked look of desperation and urge swooned both.
Wanning against the chill, Zero began towards the Academy. Kaname followed closely behind.
A/N: This is just a supple slice of a new story I am working on. I just wanted to see how it would do before I would post another chapter. P.S. I apologize for not updating my other stories yet. I will prevail and I will update soon. Enjoy.
