A/N: Okay, so the other day, I was looking at a listing of jutsu and it said Naruto's Harem no Jutsu was "unbeatable", and I thought, "But it's never been tried against Gaara." And so, this little drabble was born. Enjoy! ^^
Uzumaki Naruto's Mission
"I've got a mission," Naruto sang.
"Really?" Kankuro said. "What's that?"
"To prove my Unbeatable Jutsu unbeatable!" Naruto replied with his Believe It! pose.
"Unbeatable...jutsu?" Kankuro parroted in confusion.
"Yeah, my Harem no Jutsu! I already have my victim in mind, too."
"Harem no Jutsu," Kankuro said. "Why do I not like where this is going? I'm scared to ask, but who's your victim?"
"Gaara," the blond replied instantly.
Gaara. Oh, yes. Kankuro really did not like where this was going.
Very soon, they managed to corner Gaara in his office.
"What do you want, Naruto?" Gaara sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. Much as he hated to admit it, he truly wasn't in the mood to deal with the blond's energy today.
"I'm on a mission," Naruto started.
"Yes," Gaara urged.
"To prove my Unbeatable Jutsu unbeatable!"
"Unbeatable-"
Naruto cut the red head off by performing the seals and crying, "Harem no Jutsu!"
The room filled with fifty Kage Bunshin of Oiroke no Jutsu Naruto.
Kankuro doubled over, averting his eyes as the mother of all nosebleeds hit him.
Gaara, however, simply folded his hands before him on the desk and said, "You were saying?"
"Kyaaah?" All the Kage Bunshin disappeared and Naruto changed back to normal. "How? How?"
"Naruto," Kankuro said, still clutching his bleeding nose. "Gaara's never had to deal with that so-"
"Are you saying he's immune to my Unbeatable Jutsu?" Naruto whined.
"I simply have no interest in illusions," Gaara answered. "Now, did you have something you needed to ask me? Or, did you simply come to interrupt my work?"
"Gah! I can't believe my Unbeatable Jutsu was beaten!" Naruto whined, leaving the office and slamming the door.
Kankuro watched as Gaara went back to his paper work. The red head rubbed his nose, and Kankuro was positive he saw a spot of red on the pale knuckles. Maybe the Unbeatable Jutsu wasn't beaten after all...
"Kankuro, get out of my office," Gaara snapped.
"It's not beaten, is it?" Kankuro risked, noticing that his nose had, thankfully, stopped bleeding.
"No," Gaara sighed. "But don't tell Naruto that."
"Why's that?" Kankuro asked, curious.
"It's rather...amusing to see him try so hard," Gaara replied, a small smirk hovering on his lips. "As it is to see him thinking that I've beaten him once more."
