"DESPITE EVERYTHING"
Draco Malfoy was also in the station with his wife and son, these last two occasioned that a knot was formed in the chestnut throat; it had been so long since the last time she saw him; 19 years without exchanging a word with him, unaware that his life was, nothing.
Their eyes met, causing the girl a tip in the heart, whereas a tingling sensation came down the back of the blond. Nothing had changed, at least not for them; despite so many years, with just looking at each other's eyes, they knew that a part was still there, a part, that, so long ago, had meant so much to them.
Both, Hermione and Draco knew it was wrong, they had someone who loved them, they had a family, they could not risk that, just for a whim of students, that had passed a long time ago; they were sure there was nothing left of what some day was, or was it?. No, they could not do this; both would do anything to ever forget what they called "love", because after all, no one deserved this, not Ron, nor Astoria, much less their children, they knew perfectly well that would happen, the relationship between Hermione and Draco was not intended to be, it was nothing but a fantasy, nothing more, one of those things in life that cannot be done, even if it means carrying the weight all your life. It was not fair, but nevertheless, it was for the good of all.
