My rewards day story:
Alison, Olivia, Lauren, and I were all standing around talking about the most random things we could think about. Lauren was in the middle of her story about how Zach had fallen in to a bean bag chair when I tried to "shhhh" her so that Zach would not hear. Zach had been rolling around in his wheelie chair quite close to us and he had heard Lauren before I could "Shhhh" her. He started pushing him self over to where we were standing. He pushed his chair right in front of me.
"What are you guys talking about?" Zach said knowing we had been talking about him. Everybody was just standing there probably waiting for me to say something. Now they decided to be quite. Zach just kept staring in to my eyes. Was he waiting for me to say something? I kept thinking I could just kick his chair and he would roll away and then maybe he would get the message. I knew he wouldn't get far but ohh well it would be funny. I quickly kicked up my leg and… he grabbed my ankle. I stumbled backwards a little bit then caught my balance. Now everybody was staring at me and Zach. I didn't have to look away from Zach's eyes to know they were staring at me. Then Tanner wheeled over and opened his big mouth.
"Zach is pretty quick." Tanner said as a matter of factly. "You don't want to mess with him." Then Tanner wheeled away in the wheelie chair he was riding in.
"Zach…" I said not knowing exactly what to say. I was lost in his eyes to say anything. I looked down at my foot it was on his knee. When had Zach moved my foot down on to his knee? He was still holding my ankle looking into my eyes. Finally more of my friends came over and Zach let go of my ankle and wheeled away without saying anything. Then Lauren finished her story about how Zach fell into the bean bags. We all laughed but of course Kayley and Makila had seen what had happened and of course that just had to talk to me.
"I thought you didn't like Zach anymore?" Kayley said.
"I don't like him" I said trying sounding to believable.
"Then what just happened that was a lot of flirting going on over there" Makila said.
"I don't like him and I was not flirting" I said trying to sound reasonable.
"It kind of looked like…" Kayley said
"I don't like him" I said cutting her off. Then I walked back to where Olivia, Alison, and Lauren were standing. My heart was still a beat off from what had just happened but I tried not to show and it. Finally my heart got back on the right track and my friends and I had a fabulous rewards day, but the thought of what had happened with Zach was still on my mind. Man that facebook thing was right about Zach being the biggest flirt. I just wish I didn't fall for the charming smile he gave me so many times. The rest of rewards day Olivia and I hung out while Alison and Lauren played with the bunny. Rewards day was pretty boring there was really nothing to do but that one minute with Zach that happened so quickly was the high light of my day. How could one minute of rewards day be the highlight out of seven hours of my day? Am I boy crazy for Zach or did it just happen to be the funniest thing that happened that day?
