The prompt Elisa gave me was "stories." I don't own NCIS...

She was always listening to his stories. He told her stories from movies, he told her stories of past cases. She loved listening to his stories. The stories almost calmed her, reminding her that there were some good things in the world.

She loved listening to his movie stories the most though. While they worked, he would make references to movies that she had never seen. She was intrigued by his stories and he made her want to see the said movies.

That was a perfect excuse to spend time with him. One day, after a long day of work, she went up to him and asked, "What movie were you talking about today, Tony?"

He looked down at her, giving her the signature Tony smirk, and told her what the movie was.

Even though Ziva had already seen the movie, she lied. Feigning shock, she said, "What is that movie about, Tony? I do not think I have seen it."

He looked at her, shocked. He always believed her little black lies. "How have you not seen that movie, Ziva?" he asked.

Ziva shrugged and replied, "I do not know, Tony. I guess I did not have time to go see it."

"Well, that's it. You're going to see it. What are you doing tonight?" he asked, stopping at his car.

Ziva stopped next to him and shook her head. "Nothing. Why? Do you want me to come over and watch it tonight?" she asked, raising her eyebrows.

Tony shrugged nonchalantly and studied her face. "Sure, why not?" he replied. "I mean, we can go back to my place, order pizza or Chinese, and watch it. That is, if you want to," he suggested.

"That sounds like a good plan. I will follow you back to your place then, yes?" Ziva said, smiling widely. Her secret plan was working; they really weren't breaking any rules of thy spent time outside of work as friends.

Tony nodded. "Yeah. I'll call in the food while I'm driving and then I can just swing over and pick it up. Which one do you want?" he asked, pulling out his cell phone.

"Pizza is fine. So, I will see you at your house?" Ziva asked, starting towards her car.

Tony nodded, and smile. "Yeah. See you in a few."

Her little plan was working. All Ziva wanted was to be closer to Tony, and their movie nights were helping her get closer to him.

While they were watching the movie, Ziva kept jumping. The movie that they were watching was a horror movie, and she had forgotten how scared she had been the last time she saw it. Ziva moved closer to Tony and buried her face in his shoulder during some of the scarier parts.

"How is little Miss Mossad scared of a movie?" Tony teased, looking down at her and laughing.

Ziva looked up at him and shot him a glare. "I am not scared, Tony," she replied, sitting up straight.

"Well, it sure looks like you are scared," DiNozzo said, smirking.

Ziva didn't answer him. She turned her head and focused on the movie again. He would pay for teasing her.

As the movie continued, Ziva continued to jump at all the scary parts and Tony soon had his arm wrapped around her shoulders. Ziva was leaning into his side, enjoying their time together.

She rested her head on his shoulder and smiled to herself. Even though she lies to him about seeing the movie, she was glad that she did. Ziva was comfortable when she was close to him.

Maybe lying about small things wasn't so bad.
