Good grief and curses to your self-destructive stupidity; your lust for my blood and body will be the death of us both. You know that, and you revel in it. You, I can see, glory in the thought of dying rather than shying away from it. You want to die, and what's more, you want to take me with you.

Between now and the darkness of death, you are saturated with misery, and the only balm to you pain is to make misery my business as well. That is the only explanation I can find for this, the only answer to your burning gaze and your implacable cries for someone to come and try to spill your blood.

If you want me to free your blood from the veins, that I will do gladly.

It is so easy. Rage and despair blunts your blade and deadens your reflexes; my sword only grows keener, my reflexes sharper. I who try to hold myself above the base instincts of our past forms can feel blood singing in my veins as it looses from yours. When you fall, bleeding on the ground, you glower at me with hatred and undisguised lust and that, that is why I love seeing you suffer. You are little more than an animal as you are now.

But you could change, if you wanted to.

And you don't.

That's why I still come. You are an animal, little better, with the potential to be more and the desire to be freed from a prison of flesh. You want me to do it, so I can stop being so hateful to your sight, so I can stop being the object of your darker purposes. So I can finally leave your thoughts.

You drown us both in misery. And I can't stop.
