Prologue
"Hello! Hello!" cried the Channel 7's main news reporter, Lavender Smith, holding a chocolate bar. Willy Wonka brand, which most people thought was an odd name, since it was run by "Chocolate Charlie" but the name was still Willy Wonka because of the original, and forgotten, owner. "Right now I'm eating a candy bar from Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, the world's most famous candy producer! 25 years ago on the dot was when Chocolate Charlie took over the original owner, Willy Wonka. How this is decided is long forgotten. But today I'm going to remind us all, and tell us what happened after." Lavender took a small cough.
"A long time ago, no one knew what happened. No one was allowed in Willy Wonka's factory, and no one was allowed out; Willy had fired all his workers. However, the chocolate industry remained strong. " Smith cooed in a smooth voice.
"Chocolate Charlie, or Charlie Bucket as he was called 25 years ago, was one of 5 kids randomly selected to go on a tour of Willy Wonka's factory. How they would be selected? By finding a golden ticket in their chocolate bars. The first kid was found in Germany, by the name of Augustus Gloop. He found the ticket easily because he ate so much. When he heard of the contest, he just ate chocolate bars, and quickly found a ticket. The next to find a ticket was Veruca Sault. Her father owned a giant nut factory with thousands of workers. They usually shelled nuts, but after the contest they shelled chocolate bars. As soon as one found a golden ticket, Veruca was in. Shortly after, Violet Beauregarde found her ticket. She did nothing but chew gum, so when she heard about the contest all she did was eat chocolate. Next was Mike Teavee. He played video games and watched TV nonstop. He only got his ticket by accident, and he wasn't even excited about it!" Lavender reported.
"Finally, on the day of the tour, the final golden ticket had been found in Charlie's chocolate bar. He and his grandfather ran to the factory. The tour was a spectacular experience. They learned that creatures called Oompa Loompas ran the factory." Lavender exclaimed, giggling at the weird word.
"But once inside, the kids fell one by one until only one stood. Augustus first, by falling into a chocolate river. Violet was next, she got turned into a blueberry! Veruca fell down a chute after chasing a squirrel, and Mike tried to be teleported by television, which worked, but shrunk him to the size of 6 inches! The only one left was Charlie, so he became the new owner of the factory, while the other children received a life time supply of chocolate." Lavender said, taking a giant bite of her own piece of chocolate.
"Today, the golden ticket winners came out with many results. Charlie, as you know, has become the new owner of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Augustus died at the age of 24 because of health problems, Veruca married a man named 'Mike Sarner' who died 5 years after the wedding. She is now a single mother of a darling little girl, Myra. Violet and Mike got married and had a pair of twins, named 'Peach' and 'Mario.'" Lavender gave a huge smile at the cameras. "And that's the recap of chocolate in recent ye- Wait, wait. Breaking news everyone! We have just received a message from Chocolate Charlie. In honor of the 25 year anniversary he has hid 10 Golden Tickets in chocolate bars across the world, another tour will be given to the winners. Good luck kids!"
