This is my first poem and I think I did pretty well, but that's for you to tell me, isn't it?
I gaze at you
Without knowing what I see,
A Rival or a Friend in need?
You seem lost
Now that you chose your path
Do you have the desire
To maybe, turn back?
I chase after you
To catch you when you fall
When you close your eyes
Or continue to wander
As you stumble in the Dark
You're blind to what is plain to see
When I promise, Why won't you Believe me?
Because I will die today
For a Friend, Rival, Brother or Enemy
Whichever you wish to play
But you won't understand until it's too late
So the sacrifices I made today
Are worth the wait
