"You did this to yourself, Ronald," said the woman in front of the bound man.
Her green eyes were a darker shade than Harry's, and it scared him to no end how much they reminded him of the color represented to Slytherins in that moment. Her hair fell in soft curls, much like his ex, which happened to be her younger sister.
Sweat formed at his brow, and he trembled at the wicked gleam in her eyes.
"W-What did I ever do to you?" he stammered. "I thought everything was o-okay!"
The woman glared at him. "You hurt my sister for that tart, Granger. You sweetened her up, only to leave her out to dry. About time you get the same treatment." Her arm gestured to the table next to her holding different sweets. In the back of his mind, despite the danger in front of him, Ron couldn't help but want the variety of sweets she was showing.
With a sneer, Gloria picked up a chocolate egg from the assortment of treats. "You know what they say, Ron. You are what you eat."
Panic seized in his body at the implication of her words, and Ron struggled against his bonds in the chair. It was true that he and Marsha didn't end on the best of terms, but to resort to kidnapping? Gloria was currently in the fear category with spiders.
"Gloria, please!" he pleaded. "Harry and Mione are going to be looking for me, so let's not do anything you can't undo, yeah?"
She tapped her wand on her chin, ignoring his pleas. "You know, I've never found this spell to be tried on a human and succeed before, so first time for everything."
Ron opened his mouth to beg for his life some more, thinking it was about to end, but the incantation 'Dulcolus' and a jet of light hitting him stopped him in his tracks.
His final moment of consciousness were met with a sinister grin that Gloria had given him while she held a chocolate egg.
"Harry, I can't find Ron anywhere," Hermione said. "And all I've gotten is a damn box of chocolate eggs! Do you think he has something to do with this?"
"It's food, Hermione. It has Ron written all over it," Harry replied, running a hand through his hair. "It is a bit odd that he hasn't gotten back to you yet, but it is your anniversary. Maybe he's scrambling for his gifts and sent this one early. Remember last year?"
Hermione shook her head. "I want to believe that, but I don't know. I have this bad feeling…"
"You're turning into me," Harry joked as he picked up one of the eggs. "If he isn't back in another hour, I'll go find and wrangle the wanker myself."
Hermione smiled and tucked a curl behind her head. "Thanks Harry."
Unfortunately, as Harry took one of the eggs to his lips, he didn't hear the inward pleas going about. "Nooo!"
