"Yeah, I know…. I'll tell him right now… Okay… Oh, I'll tell you more about it later. Love you." Nightwing whispered into a yellow and black communicator. He pensively looked at the black screen of the device, to see his reflection staring back at him. Without a second thought, he closed the communicator and placed it in his person but making sure it was out of sight. With an audible sigh, he began to crawl out the air vent he had temporarily taken refuge in.

Nightwing easily climbed out of the vent, landing down on the ground without producing any sort of sound. He looked around to see ensure he's alone before heading towards the mission room. It was fast approaching midnight and everyone should be either be asleep or about ready to do so.

Entering the room, Nightwing raised an eyebrow at seeing who was already occupying the room already. It's the newly designated Flash, Wally West, sitting in front of the holographic computer with his mask off. Wally slowly looked through files of previous mission he completed in the past with a constant tired frown.

It appeared at the fact Wally is not wearing his mask only seemed to intensify how tired he is. It only took a moment for him to take note of Nightwing's appearance, to see he was no longer alone in the dimly lit room. Wally motioned for Nightwing to come closer.

"This is a surprise." Nightwing mused aloud, he stood next to Wally. He leaned against the chair as he looked at the holograms. He could recognize several of the missions as he partnered up with his friend in them. "Normally I would see you scarfing down food or running off to who knows where."

"Shut it, Dick." Wally grumbled out, he slid down in the chair while he rubbed his eyes in an attempt to wipe the sleep away. "How pissed off is she at me this time?"

"I called Kori earlier…" Nightwing smiled at the thought of Kori calling him along with what he was informed about his friend and girlfriend. "Lucky called her to ask her for cooking lessons. Try not to lose a limb."

Wally's face turned into a pale green at the thought, he looks up at Nightwing with a questioning look. "How do even survive with her cooking."

"Having a strong stomach…you get used to is after a while… a long while."

"Dude, the last time I tried some of Kori's food, it nearly bit off my entire arm."

"And…that is why I am warning you this time." Nightwing warned, but his smirk only seemed to cause Wally to glare at his friend for not understanding his possible future death.

"It tore off my gloves… the material needs to be put through hell before it gives way." Wally added but only let out an annoyed sigh at seeing his close friend giving him an amused expression. "What else was said?"

Nightwing leaned in closer to Wally so that he could whisper just loud enough to ensure no one could possible pick up on what he is telling him. "Lucky is currently traveling for a bit. Her past is getting the best of her. She won't be picking up any phone calls anytime soon."

Wally snapped his head up to look up at Nightwing, he had pressed press a random button that pulled up a file that brought up a new file. "Where is she? Did she mention where she is going?"

Nightwing was going to respond, his attention went towards the new file what popped up. This is one he had never seen before. The file dubbed, Titans, has to do with the Teen Titans themselves. There were several pictures of the earlier days, there was one of when he was Robin and another of Wally being Kid Flash, both of them doing what they do best. Being heroes. "All Kori mentioned is something about the first rose bloom."

Wally's eyes widened as he took in the information. He gave his friend a nod as a thanks for the information.

"Who's there?"

Wally quickly put on his cowl, now going on by the mantle of the Flash. Nightwing looked over towards the main entrance of the room to see Garfield Mark Logan, aka Beast Boy, walking to the room. The two older heroes let their personas to momentarily fall at seeing who walked into the room.

"You guys need to sleep. When was the last time you two had an actual night long sleep?" Garfield yawned out, he walked over towards his friends as he slowly de-transformed from his simian-like form. "Why are the both of you up so late?"

"Oh you know… answering late night phone calls." Nightwing grinned slightly at his friend. "What about you?"

"I…" Garfield looked around the room, before he answered. "I got a call from Rach a while ago, and I couldn't go back to sleep."

"It seems we all got a call from our girls." Flash said as he stood up and stretched out. He let out a low groan when he cracked a couple of bones back into place. "What do you have to do, to get back in her good graces?"

"Either accompany her to some other dimension to who knows what… or to a museum I have yet to be banned from." Garfield scratched the back of his head at the memories of all the places he's been banned from due to reason or another.

"I thought you were banned from ever going to a museum ever again? Especially after you replaced one their replica of a mammoth for a day?" Flash questioned.

"I remember that…" Nightwing mused aloud before he snorted. "Rachal refused to talk to you for a whole month before you groveled to her to forgive you."

"And I'll do it again!"

Flash let out a yawn, he headed towards the zeta beams. "I'm going to call it a night. I'm on break for who knows how long, and I plan on sleeping."

"Until next time, Flash," Nightwing said as he took the seat that Flash was sitting on previously.

"See you later, Flash." Beast Boy called out as he pulled up a chair sitting next to Nightwing.

B03 Flash

With that Flash was out of Mount Justice.

Nightwing sat in the now vacated seat and looked through the files that contained information on the Teen Titans. He and Garfield looked at old videos of them fighting with their friends when they were younger. They remained silent as they recalled those moments, remembering the villains they faced, the lessons they learned and just being… heroes. They didn't even take note morning was fast approaching until Nightwing's wrist computer let out an alarm to signal the time.

Nightwing began to seal off the files before turning off the computer. "Time to get ready for the day, BB."

"Yeah… Nightwing?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you think I'm a waste of space in the Team?"

Nightwing paused, he was about to get up from the chair before he suddenly felt his legs couldn't hold him up. That was the last thing he ever expected to come out of Garfield. Not even a second later, he looked up at Garfield, taking in at the fact that even if he's sitting down, the green skinned shifter had gotten taller and he has no clue when this had occurred. "Who made you think so? You know perfectly well you are not a waste of space, Beast Boy. Out of everyone here, you have had the most experience than the majority of us. Despite what they think and believe."

"I know that!" Garfield exploded, he tightly gripped his hair and had unknowingly shifted towards his simian-human like form. "I know that I can't tell them, and I know I shouldn't allow it get to me but it does!"

Nightwing pinched the bridge of his nose and let out a breath through his mouth. "BB… promise me the next time someone questions you about your position in this Team, call me. The last thing I need is her going after me… again. You know I don't want that to happen."

"Alright, alright… I'm going to make tofu pancakes. Want any?"

"…Some things never change."

-.-

Wally lounged around on his couch in his apartment in Steel City. Dressed in his civilians clothing which is composed of a simple light orange shirt, dark blue jeans and a pair of sneakers. The only thing that seemed off if anyone knew him, is a silver ring on his left hand ring finger. Right now, he is attempting to fall asleep but that seemed to be easier said than done.

Considering that the face that out of nowhere, a random piece of luggage was suddenly thrown his direction and landing on top of him. Wally let out a loud oomph in pain, he let out a groan as he sat up and saw someone that made his smile before he put on a pout. "Was that necessary, Lucky?"

Nicole 'Lucky' Diaz loomed over Wally, a frown seemed to be etched on her face as she also glared daggers down at her boyfriend. Her bubblegum pink hair pulled back in a braided messy ponytail, dressed in a dark purple loose tank top, a pair of black skinny jeans and black leather boots. "Where have you been?"

"When did you get here?" Wally asked with a tired smile, ignoring the question. He reached up to cup Nicole's cheek.

Nicole ignored the fact Wally is stalling from answering her. She leaned into Wally's hand, and ignoring that fuzzy feeling that began to grow within her. "When I snuck into the apartment or the city? I've been in the city for a couple of weeks now."

"Where were you staying the last couple of weeks?" Wally asked, his brows furrowed at the thought of his girlfriend staying who knows where.

"I know people that owe me favors… I just need a place to hide out for a while. Stuff came up." Nicole replied nonchalantly. She looked around the apartment and couldn't help but snort. It looks like a typical bachelor pad. Throughout the time the two of them had been together, she never visited this place. It mainly had to do with the fact the fear of the League having the place bugged or spying on the place. After the last couple weeks of surveillance, Nicole deduced neither was happening but there is always a risk. There's always a risk. "I'm going to be staying here until some things clear up."

"Why don't you just move in with me permanently? Or we could look for another place together if you don't like this place? My lease is almost up, we can look for a new place until then or sign up for another year?"

Nicole stared at Wally as he shot off question, after question, about the possibility of her moving in with him, or them looking at home or somethings similar. The thought of them living together does sound good… but… "Let's wait and see how things go with my current problem. If it clears up… I'll think at the aspect of us living together."

"Yes!"

-.-

Nightwing sat behind the counter as he watched Beast Boy making tofu pancakes. He sat there, munching on an apple hoping that the green bean will not make him eat his latest creation. Nightwing would very much want to reserve whatever taste buds he has left before they die on him.

"Good morning." M'gann smiled floating into the room.

"Morning." Nightwing said as he continued munching on the apple.

"Hey, M'gann." Beast Boy said as he flipped a tofu pancake onto a huge stack of tofu pancakes. "I'm making breakfast."

"I... can see that." M'gann said wearily as she took notice what exactly the pancakes were made out of.

Beast Boy grabbed a plate and stack it with pancakes. "Here you go, Nightwing."

Beast Boy placed the plate right in front of Nightwing, who stared at it wondering what he should do with it. With a shrug, Nightwing reached over and pulled out a glass jar of honey and strawberry jam.

"What is that horrible smell?" La'gann stated as he walked into the kitchen covering his nose. "Smells like something died."

La'Gann saw Beast Boy holding a ladle and a bowl, a slight sneer a came to his face. "So, you're the one making that smell. What in Neptune's beard are you making that smells this bad?"

"Tofu Pancakes." Nightwing stated as he stuffed his mouth with his own batch of pancakes. "… Not bad."

Beast Boy beamed at the small praise. "Thanks!"

M'gann took a small bite out of a pancake, but she quietly spit it out, out of Beast Boy sight. "It's… strange."

Nightwing continued to eat his own stack of pancakes. "There's enough to pass around, dig in."

Connor came into the kitchen and stood there at the entrance watching everyone. "Is that your tofu pancakes."

"Hey, Connor." Beast Boy said as he set out another plate of pancakes.

La'gann walked over to Nightwing and whispered to him. "How do you even stand to eat that?"

"You could say I am used to strange foods." Nightwing said to him, as he took another forkful of pancakes into his mouth. "Believe me, I've seen stranger things than this."

La'gann gave him a perplexed look. "How do you even stand him?"

Nightwing paused, he placed his fork down next to his plate. "Who?"

"Who do you think I'm talking about, Beast Boy?" La'gann whispered he took a quick side glanced at Beast Boy.

"I've known Beast Boy for a long time and I trust him with my life," Nightwing said as he stood up from his seat. "I don't know what you have against him, but it has to stop. This isn't good for the Team."

"I'm just saying what everyone thinks of him."

-.-

Red Arrow stood on top of a rooftop. He watched over the city, under the high moon. It was a quiet night, a very boring night. Nothing was happening in the city that needs his attention as of right now. Nothing is coming up from the Team, League or even from the Titans.

"My, isn't this a surprise." Said a feminine crafty voice, causing Red Arrow to sit up straight. "Normally I see you out and about."

"Why don't you sit down with me." Red Arrow called out waving a hand towards the spot next to him. "It's a quiet night, Cheshire."

Cheshire came out of the shadows and walked up to Red Arrow. She sat next him and looked down at the busy city down below. "Look at them…"

"They look like ants." Red Arrow stated as he looked down at the streets down below.

"Of course." Cheshire stated as she wrapped her hand around his, leaning into his shoulder.

"I thought you were taking the night off." Red Arrow asked looking down at her. "Where's Lian?"

"My mother is looking after her with my little sister." Cheshire said as she tucked her legs underneath herself.

Red Arrow let out a low laugh, he leaned his head against her. They quietly enjoyed the night away.
