"Come on Elena! If you want to help him, you have to let all that emotional baggage go, and just focus on helping him and nothing else!" Lexi exclaimed irritably, sneering towards Elena.
Elena realized Lexi was not the sweet saint like she had remembered. She was still a vampire and had a volatile nature, and all she cares about is helping her best friend.
"Yeah, Elena listen to her. Move on and stop living in the past," Stefan rasped out. Lexi snapped her head towards him and glared. The stake was shoved in his collar bone with great force. "You don't talk," Lexi growled out.
Elena couldn't help but flinch at the forcefulness in Lexi's voice. She turned to Elena. "Don't give in to whatever he says, you hear me?" Lexi questioned Elena.
"Now my time is running short. So just do whatever you need to do to get through to him. Forget all about your emotional attachment to him, and focus on him getting better and gaining back his humanity," Lexi urged on.
Her hard brown eyes softened clearly. "Take care of him for me please," she begged lowly. She looked at Stefan and her eyes looked watery.
Then suddenly she disappeared. She now knew she had a legacy to live up to. She had to try and be just like Lexi, and get through to Stefan.
