A/N: I decided to write a Vampire Knight oneshot because I'm seriously in need of a break from writing YGO 5Ds and Sonic all the time. I don't even have an idea for this short story so I'm just going to wing it so bare with me here. I wanted to write a Yuki angst story so this is what I came up with. And yes I'm an AidouxYuki fan She might be kind of ooc in this just to let you know. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: Vampire Knight doesn't belong to me.

Am I not good enough?

Yuki Kuran walked along the school grounds at midnight. A lot of everyday's life was stressing was getting to so she decided to take an evening walk, even though she's supposed to be in class, being a vampire meant going to school at night. What could hurt to skip a little class every now and then?

Kaname will be mad with me although she thought.

Though slightly she didn't care. Her brother Kaname was for once on her nerves. She's so sick and tired of him being so secretive and overprotective of her.

He probably thinks I can't handle the truth or I'll get myself hurt.

That's what pissed Yuki to no end. She isn't that pathetic, defenseless girl anymore. She trains herself physically every night, without so much as a water break.

I thought I proved myself to him.

Yuki came to a fountain and sat herself on the edge but, even that still didn't ease her. She spotted two other night class, sitting on the other side of the fountain. A male and female in an all out make-out session, soon to be something more deeper if Yuki hadn't interrupted them.

"Hey do you mind?" she asked annoyance clearly showing from her voice.

The couple stopped what they were doing, glancing at her with their own annoyed expressions, only it turned to surprise when they saw who it was.

"Yuki!" the girl exclaimed.

"We're sorry about the "little" scene you had to see there," the boy apologized.

"Yeah we'll be on our way now," then they both sped off at vampire speed.

Yuki sighed, the students have been distant around her. They act afraid of her as if she'd kill them on the spot. I guess when you're a sister of the Kaname it's to be expected. She looked at her reflection. Her features have changed over the years. Her hair has grown a little past her tail bone, she's gotten a little taller, feminine curves fitted her body nicely including her chest. Though the young vampire didn't just change physically. Her happy, go-lucky spirit seems to have tone down a bit. She smiled here and there but, they been showing up on her face less and less.

Why am I like this?

"Yuki I'd thought I found you here."

Said girl looks over to her right and sees none other than Aidou running up to her.

"Yuki I been looking everywhere for you," he breathlessly said.

"Why?" but Yuki already knew the answer to that.

"It's Kaname he wishes to speak with you."

"Why are you talking so formly?"

"Huh?"

"Why is everyone scared of me!" she shouted.

"Yuki what are you-

"Aidou what's so great about being the sister of Kaname Kuran" Yuki interrupted.

"What do you mean being the sister of a pureblood it's the most incredible things that can ever happened to any vampires," Aidou explained.

"Yeah well I'm tired of it, I'm tired of being watched all the time and I'm tired of all the secrecy," she half-yelled, tears of frustration pouring down her face.

"Is it because he still think that I'm that helpless little girl, well I'm not , I'm not her anymore, I've grown up, why can't he see that!"

"Yuki…"

"I don't get it, what's wrong with me, what am I lacking in?" two hands grabbed her smaller ones.

"Aidou?" she looked up confusion written on her face.

"Yuki, your not lacking in anything at least not in my category of pretty girls," he smirked.

"I'm not joking around," she released her hands from his, blushing.

"Hey I wasn't joking," he replies pouting.

"Am I good enough?" she asked, switching the subject.

"You are for me," Aidou answered as the night's breezes blew by.
