Toph is in Denial

Author's Note: Hey all!! As some of you know, I posted mi first fan fic yesterday, (technically today since it was 1:30 when I rote it.) That is actually y I am writing another one today. I thought about writing Toph's feelings in the story, but 2 things kept me from doing that: #1 – I was too tired 2 rite anymore. #2 – I realized that at some point I would probably have 2 make them kiss or something (that's mi brain's command. I'm such a romantic I couldn't live w/out a happy ending), and I'm not good at describing kisses. This story is in a different format. Also, it's not really a sequel to the last one. By the way, thanks for all the reviews last time! Alright, I'll quit mi pointless rambling. Enjoy!!! Or don't if it sucks!!!!!

Why is my heart racing like that? It seems like every time he comes near me I start to breath quickly and my heart goes a mile a minute! I wouldn't be surprised if I had a heart attack right now!!

Then again, his heart seemed to do that whenever Suki came near him at the Serpent's Pass. Oh Spirits, what if I caught whatever he had? Is heart disease contagious?? Stupid Sokka, giving me his heart disease!!!

Wait a minute, Toph. Heart disease isn't contagious! Or is it? I should really ask Katara!

"So why am i feeling this way?"

"What?"

Oh crap, did i say that out loud? Calm down Toph, be cool.

"Oh, hey Katara."

"What's up?"

"Nothing. I just haven't been feeling well for the past couple days is all."

"Oh really. What's wrong?" Katara flashed a knowing smile, though Toph couldn't see it.

"Well, it's just that my heart has been racing, my breathing is quick, and I have a queasy stomach. By the way, is heart disease contagious, because the same thing happened to Sokka all the time whenever he got near Suki at the Serpent's Pass. Although ever since Suki left it doesn't happen anymore."

"Sounds like you have a case of loooove." Katara teased.

"What????" Toph screeched, much like she did when they were being chased by that psychopath Azula.

"Dr. Love, paging Doctor IMN Love!"

"Shut up Sugar Queen!! I am not in love with Snoozles!"

With that comment, Katara busted out laughing. Toph could feel her rolling on the floor, and it ticked her off!

"Whats so funny?!" Toph demanded.

" I never said anything about Sokka! I just said that you were in love!" Katara wiped a tear out of her eye.

Toph suddenly turned a bright red color, a blush that seemed to cover her whole body, and when Katara saw this, she calmed down.

"Toph, I think it's really sweet that you're in love with my brother, and don't worry, he'll come around. I just know he will."

"SHUT UP SUGAR QUEEN!!!!"

Katara then found herself being launched off of the ground, landing 50 yards away from where she was just standing. She saw Toph walking away in a huff.

Stupid Sokka and his heart and stomach diseases!!!! I am not in love with Sokka!

Ok, once again, not what I was expecting to write about! I hope that Katara and Toph weren't too out of character. Now that I go back and read it, it seems like I accidentally swapped their personalities a tiny bit! Oh well, I hope this gets a few laughs out of some people!!!
