I always have been a fan of vampire movies. When I say that there was a quest called Vampire Slayer is was excited to start. The first thing I had to do was talk to Morgan. He is one of the poor villagers that are getting terrorized by a vampire, Count Draynor who is a level 20, in the Draynor Village. I am assuming that the count started this village since it takes after his first name.
After talking with Morgan, I had to find my way to Varrock to find Dr. Harlow, the vampire slayer. To my surprise, I found him stumbling in one of Varrock local watering hole. In order for me to help him, I had to buy him a fine mug of brew to add to his drunken stupor. Dr. Harlow was a wealth of knowledge on how to defeat the vampire. He even game me the tools, stake and hammer, to kill the vampire. Before I left him to drown his sorrows, he gave me the advice to have my amour, plenty of food to replenish my health and garlic that can be found at Port Sarim.
I went to the bank in Varrock to deposit my innovatory and keep only what I needed. Talking to Dr. Harlow made me think where I could stock up on food and power up my combat skills at the same time. I travel south to Fred the Farmer. Here I picked up raw chickens from others who are killing them. Once I got the raw chickens, I cut a tree and burned the wood to cook my chickens. Here I powered up my cooking, firemaking, and woodcutting XP. Then I was on my way to Draynor Manor slay my first vampire.
Like many adventures, I got distracted along the way by fighting anything I could to the death. Luckily I won every time. This helped me to increase my combat XP. I finally reached the path which leads to the manor. As I started walking the path to the manor, I was attacked by trees. I opened the front doors and made my way to the basement where Count Draynor laid in his coffin. I thought when I opened the coffin that I could just kill him where he laid. To my surprise, I made him very upset when I put a stake into his chest.
We started fighting each of our blows was doing damage where I went through my food pretty fast. As I was about to die, I ran up the stairs to get away and replenish my health. I then went back down to fight again. This time when I was fighting him, I saw that there was no stake poking out of his chest. I ran away again and this time I ran to Dr. Harlow to get another stake. I then fought goblins to power up by combat skills to 16 and my health to 19. Now I am ready to slay that vampire. My innovatory was full of chicken and I was ready.
The battle took a good couple of minutes. In the end, I splayed my first vampire and saved the village of Draynor. I went back to tell Morgan the great news. In return for completing this quest, I got 3 quest points and 4,825 attack XP.
