She was raised to believe that wolfs were now extinct. This is a story about a girl who fell in love with someone or something that she would least expect to have her heart taken away by. She sat in her Academic History Class clicking the tip of her pen against her lips with her fingers holding it to her mouth. She sighed with boredom as she heard her teacher going on about history or the government and how WW1 started and ended then the following war of WW2 starting and ending. Sighing again she looked out the window she was so board and sitting here listing to her teach blabbering about information that she knows that she won't be using in the future. "Gah this is so stupid I won't be using this when I get my ass out of here so why are they bothering on teaching me about a war that ended in tragedy" she thought to her self. She wasn't going to listen to her teach babble on things that didn't interest her one bit.
That was until she heard her teacher say something about wolfs that got her attention and she placed her full attention on her teacher egerred on what he had to say now. "As you know wolfs are now extinct and will further stay in extinction this reason is because we have gathered much information that wolfs have become a complete threat to our society and I have been informed to tell you that if you have come across a wolf you must either kill it your self or call the police" with her teacher announcing that she turned her head away. Wolf gone extinct how could that be and a danger to society what a bull shit thing to say. She loved wolfs she thought they were beautiful animals also very cute when they're puppies. Once the bell rang she grabbed her books and headed towards her locker to grab her coat along with her other books to head home.
She turned her head to see her friend walking out of the 2nd story door to the stair case. "Hey can you tell the bus to wait for me Lauren I still need to print out a few stuff" she said to her friend "Alright but Kaia I'll give you 5 minutes and then I'm going to tell her to leave" (oh that's right the main character of the story her name is Kaia) Kaia sighed and quickly pressed print on her computer and continued to pack up her things once the data reached to the printer and printed out what she need she ran down the stairs and out side with the cold wind and snow hitting her face and legs to only find out that all the busses have already left and there was no cars in the parking lot. She clenched her fist with anger but then sighed it was to damn cold to yell and to get angry. "God now what am I suppose to do every body is gone and I highly doubt that my family is going to want to drive all the way out here just to pick me up and drop me off at my apartment.
She sighed with anger as she grabbed her book bag and her computer bag and began to walk. What seemed like hours seemed like an eternity to her the cold wind hitting her skin and bare legs the coat wasn't big enough to cover her entire body. Once she was only a few blocks away from her apartment she sighed with relief. "Oh thank god I can finally take a nice warm hot bath and get my self all nice and warm." She said with excitement and continued to walk until something caught her attention in one of the allies that she passed by. In an ally there what seemed to be a big lump on the floor covered by a new coat of snow curious Kaia walked over to it to see what it was. Getting close to it she stopped she saw a stick laying down near her she picked it up and poked the lump on the floor it was soft and it moved which meant that it was alive she walked around in front of it and kneeled down she began to brush the snow off the lump her eyes widened when she realized what was laying right in front of her.
"O-Oh my god….I-it's a wolf." She thought before stretching out her hand towards the motionless wolf to see if it was ok but the once looking dead wolf re-opened its eyes and snapped and growled at the stranger. Kaia jerked back and fell on her bottom she placed her hand up in front of her for defense as a fake smile appeared on her face. "Whoa easy there…I'm not going to hurt you" she said nervously re-guard less the wolf continued to growl and got up but quickly fell back down. Kaia got back on her knees and took a closer look at the wolf. She then noticed all the wounds and burses that he had all over his body. She stood up and slowly walked over to the injured wolf but the wolf continued to growl at her Kaia putting her fears aside went and kneeled down in front of the wolf "You're a wolf.." she said calmly, the wolf suddenly stopped growling and had a shocked look on its face she slowly stretched out her hand to pet the wolf to show him that she wasn't going to hurt him luckily the wolf didn't snap or bite her hand but let her pet him. Kaia smiled as the wolf before her allowed her to pet him.
"I wonder what happened to you ….well anyways I'm sure your hungry right well you can come and stay at my place." She said smiling at him as she got off of her knees to stand. She thought she heard the wolf growling at her and she didn't know why until she realized that it was his stomach that was growling Kaia let out a laugh and smiled down at the wolf who just looked at her. She walked back to the side walk and looked back to only see the wolf just sitting there looking down at the ground she sighed and placed her hands on her hips and walked over to the wolf and leaned down and tried to carry it but the wolf struggled slightly and began to growl at Kaia as it freed itself from her grasp turning and looking at her. Kaia sighed and placed her hands on her hips and looked down at the wolf annoyed. "It's either you walk or I carry you since you weren't following me I decided the choice for you." She said smiling at him the wolf snorted at her and got up shaking the snow off of its back it walked forward passing her up but limping and struggling.
She watched the wounded wolf walk past her sighing again she just stood there "Do you need some help…I mean its no bother if I carry you." The wolf turned it's head and just sneezed but she knew that it wasn't the cold it was a scuff, Kaia then crossed her arms and glared at the wolf as it glared right back at her "you damn intelligent animal…" kaia joked sighing again she followed the wolf. "Come on my apartment is just around the corner" the brown haired brown eyed girl pointed luckily there wasn't anyone out at this time and they're trip to the apartment went smoothly. The apartment wasn't luxury or that big probably good for on person but it was still home. She went up the stairs and stopped a couple of times to wait for the injured wolf to follow her once they reached her apartment door she opened the door and held it open for the wolf to walk into her apartment. The wolf before entering sniffed the air in the apartment then walked in and sat in the small living room near her bed room Kaia closed and locked the door behind her taking off her coat her shoes placing them in a closet and placing her keys on the table.
She went over to the wolf and bent down and began to move some of its fur from the wounds. "Well….at least the bleeding stopped but your pretty banged up, who could have done this to you?" Kaia looked at the wolf with a concerned look on her face but then she noticed the wolf looking around the room with distaste completely ignoring, Kaia frowned when she noticed the wolf behavior. "Hey if you don't like the room and if you don't want my help then leave" She said a bit annoyed but the wolf only responded by laying on its stomach and placed his head over his paws. Kaia crossed her arms but went into the kitchen to get a bowl of water for her guest to drink.
The wolf watched her as she went into the kitchen and then came back placing the bowl of water in front of it. "I know you don't like things that have to do with dogs just bare with the bowl of water please it's better then drinking out of a toilet like more K9's do" Kaia reasoned with the wolf. Turning her back to the wolf she went into the bathroom down the hall to get her first aid kit that her mother sent her just incase of emergency Kaia never thought that she would use it on a animal that was suppose to be extinct. Once she came back she saw the wolf drinking away from the bowl she giggled a little the wolfs head and ears shot up once he heard her giggle "Wow I guess you were really thirst huh" kaia joked the wolf just looked away from her almost a bit embarrassed by her compliment. Sighing she went over to her K9 friend and sat down next to it inspecting its wounds.
She stated to clean them up removing the dried blood that stuck to his fur she tried to whip away what she thought was ice stuck to his fur but when she looked a little closer it was his snow white colored fur, she looked at the wolf once or twice to see if it was flinching or showing any signs that it was in pain to her surprise it only blinked a few times. Once she was done cleaning his wounds she heard his stomach growl yet again Kaia smiled and giggled as she looked at the wolf his just flattened its ears when she giggled "Alright let me get you something to eat since you were a good boy and didn't growl at me when I cleaned your wounds how about a nice thick steak." Kaia said as she laughed when she saw the ears of the wolf stand straight up when she mentioned meat. Grabbing the cloth that she used to whip the blood, walking into the kitchen tossing the bloodied up clothes in the trashcan then soon came back with a thick piece of steak on a plate she then bent down and placed the food in front of the wolf.
Walking out of the room for a few minutes she came back to find the white wolf laying on her bed. "hey hey hey what are you doing I thought you were eating." Kaia said before she looked in back of her to see the plate whipped clean looking back at the wolf who only gave her a smirk laid on his stomach resting his head on top of his paws- Kaia sighing a bit annoyed she felt woozy she went back into the kitchen grabbed some medicine and a cookie and walked into the living room with a book in hand. "Twilight by Stephanie Myers" Reading for a few hours Kaia looked at the clock a quarter past midnight she looked towards her bed to see the wolf sleeping soundly on her bed sighing again she drank a mouth full of the medicine and ate her cookie all at once.
Swallowing it she made a face from the taste of the medicine and the cookie mixed in together to make a horrible taste she walked over to her bed and sat down she then laid her self down on the bed but then she heard a low growl, looking to her side the white wolf had one eye open and it looked at her. Kaia rolled her eyes a bit annoyed " Hey this is my bed if you don't like me sleeping here then sleep on the floor" Kaia argued but the wolf just flattened its hears and turned his head to look away from her like he didn't want to deal with her. Kaia laid on her side and closed her eyes after a few hours she was snuggling with something warm and soft she felt a hot breath hitting her lips at first she thought it was the wolf but then her brain caught up on something else "soft" why not furry. Slowly opening her eyes and blinking a few times for her vision to get better her eyes widened when she saw a guy with brown messy hair a white shirt and tight blue pants, he had his arms around her and they were both cuddling with each other. A dark blush appeared on her face when she noticed that his lips and her lips were only a half an inch away from each other. His eyes slowly opened and looked at her with his deep blue eyes they stared at each other for the longest time but neither one of them said anything.
OCC: Whoa looks like Kiba is making him self home with Kaia if you want to know what's going to happen next then your going to have to wait until chapter is complete. Until then Bye bye
