The young blonde haired ninja wondered the streets that made up the town of Konoha, he held his hands behind his head and whistled a happy tune to himself. He had deep sparkling blue eyes and an almost perfectly featured face. He traversed the side streets of the shinobi-capital, and he was unsurprised to see a young silver haired ninja standing ahead of him, lying against a wall.
He halted in front of the younger ninja, bending down with a grin on his face.
"Boo!" he said jokingly, his grin spreading wider over his face.
The younger ninja looked up at the blonde haired shinobi, the bottom half of his face covered by a black Velcro mask. His eyes showed very little emotion.
"Hey, Minato sensei …" he murmured boringly.
The blonde haired ninja sat down on the ground opposite the younger ninja, his grin faded slightly but he still retained his happy posture.
"Oh Kakashi-kun, you know me Too well!" he exclaimed sarcastically.
Kakashi remained silent, staring at his sensei. Sensing his student's mood, he drove on through the conversation.
"How are you, Kakashi-kun?" he asked, still grinning slightly.
"I'm fine, Minato sensei …" he said, his tone completely expressionless.
Minato looked at Kakashi curiously, raising an eyebrow in suspicion. He could tell his prized student had something on his mind.
"Right then, go get Obito-kun and Rin-chan and meet me at the ramen shack in half an hour!" Minato beamed and disappeared in a yellow blur before his student could reject the idea, earning his name as Konoha's yellow flash.
Just under half an hour later both Minato Namikaze and Obito Uchiha were chowing down hungrily on their bowls of ramen, Kakashi and Rin ate their own meals more mannerly than the obvious gorbs that sat between the pair.
Like most people, even Kakashi loved ramen. It was one of the few things he'd remove his mask in front of others to eat! He also noticed how Rin stared at him adoringly when he did remove his mask, even Obito looked at him with a slight sense of awe.
Only Minato never looked at Kakashi's real face, or if he had Kakashi hadn't yet caught him. That was one of the reasons why Kakashi respected Minato so much, his poise, honour and understanding over subjects that shouldn't be touched.
Naturally the blonde spikey haired ninja finished his meal first, closely followed by Obito, then Kakashi and finally Rin. Each member of the team left the shack with a content smile upon his or her face, even though Kakashi had his mask on once again.
The team left in two pairs, Hatake Kakashi coupled with Obito Uchiha being the first. The second Minato Namikaze and Rin. ( A/N I couldn't find her name anywhere!)
"Sensei," began Rin quietly, her voice as quiet as she could make it. "I think Obito-kun has a crush on Kakashi-kun …" she trailed off slightly, waiting for her teachers reply.
The spiky blonde haired ninja drew in a deep breath and sighed, he cocked his head sidewards and looked at the younger ninja, curiosity clear in his deep blue eyes. "And?"
Rin seemed slightly taken aback by his question, as if what she had just said was nothing to him at all. "Well doesn't that mean he's gay?"
Minato looked at her, a sterner look placed upon his slightly tanned face.
"If he is, does that make him a bad person?" He asked.
Rin widened her eyes with shock, shaking her head profusely.
"No no of course not! I just wanted to know what you thought, sensei …"
"It isn't my place to say anything, Rin-chan. Nor is it yours, but if those two started dating them I'll simply be happy for them, which I hope you would be too." He looked ahead and chuckled to himself, otherwise the pair walked to their separate homes in silence.
Meanwhile Kakashi stood outside the Uchiha household, biding farewells to Obito. Kakashi turned and began to walk away, but was yanked back by Obito who clutched onto the silver haired ninja's hand.
"Obito-kun!" he exclaimed, but he noticed how nervous the Uchiha seemed to be, his hands shook slightly. "What's the matter?"
"L-.. Listen, Kashi-kun," started the Uchiha, using his own nickname for Kakashi. "I have no idea how to do this but … umm, I really like you. Well, I like you a lot!" The Uchiha blushed heavily, his hand tightened around Kakashi's. When Obito remained silent, Kakashi placed his free hand over the Uchiha's and he smiled kindly.
"I like you too, a lot."
At this Obito beamed and pulled the silver haired ninja into a tight embrace, though still shocked Kakashi hugged him back, smiling as well. Kakashi whispered into the Uchiha's ear, "Let's go out together sometime then."
Later that night Minato lay beside a stunningly beautiful red haired woman, her name Kushina Uzumaki. He watched her breathing peacefully, completely in love with everything about her.
Rin slept in her own bed in her home, she snored loudly and was sprawled out across her bed, dreaming about meeting her idol, Tsunade, one of the legendary sannin.
Obito and Kakashi both did the same thing. They lay in their own beds, their thoughts only for each other, their own hands reaching down into their own pants.
