The Shaman Princess

A/N: Please do not butcher me, this was a fanfic I thought about a very lomg time ago, possibly like 5 years ago. Its going to take place right when the second part of the tournament took place in patch village. Please coment and review I might make a prelude about this too.

After long months of travel Yoh and all of his friends had made it to patch village where from what it seemed like every other Shaman who had passed the first round of the tournament. Tonight it was going to be a night of relaxing since this would the first time in many months in which they would meet up and catch up with their friends and indivual family. Finally when their group catched up with them they noticed something was at a miss because someone was missing. Len narrowed his eyes as he looked as his older sister.

"Where is Akiko?!"

June froze as she begun to stare towards the ground as she really didnt know what to tell him or better yet tell him what really happened. Pailong placed his hand on her shoulder for support but she tooked a deep breath and looked at him.

"After you left to America in search for this village she took another plane to look for you and the plane crashed..."

Len seemed to have frozen for just a moment where all the memories he had of her begun to flash through his mind bringing a cloud of guilt over his head as he remembered all of the times he had mistreated her; he clenched his fists in anger as he continued to stare at the ground. Everyone knew he wasnt taking it well at all and they wanted to say something to atleast help the situation but no words came to mind. Yoh took a step forward and place a hand on his shoulder just to provide some sort of comfort but before he could say anything june broke the painful silence.

"Len.. Everything isnt lost yet. We were able to locate the plane but there were no remains, meaning that there is a chance that she might be alive"

Len looked up at her and all he could do was glare at her and his friends and without saying a word he walked away from all of them wanting to be alone. He walked through the different streets of the village until he had reached a bar where there werent many shamans in. At this point Len was both angry, frustated and confused because he didnt know what to do, a part of him knew his responsibilities as a participant in the tournament but the other side of him wanted to just run awayfrom all of this and find her. He lifted his glance towards the bartender and leaned forward toward the table.

"I want the hardest drink you can make"

The bartender responded with a nod as he begun to prepare the young male a drink, in a few moments he served him his drink and after he did so, the bartender turned around and turned on tge flat screen right behind him while he washed some glasses. Len tooka large gulp of his drink and swallowed it fast because all that he wanted was block everything out and figure out what he was going to do next. Suddely he heard her voice but for a moment he had decided to ignore it believing it was the alcohol trying to take over his senses but than he heard her voice again. He looked up at the flat screen tv and his golden eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing; it was no one other than Akiko but she was wearing native american clothing and she seemed to be surrounded by guards stoping others to get close to her.

"What in the bloody hell is going on?"- Was all the words he had managed to say as he had more questions than answers.
