Head of Britannia

Two figures stood against each other, the eternal twilight of the otherworldly realm they were forever trapped in shining upon them. Emperor and prince, father and son stared at each other, their eyes full of rage and unspoken words.

Despite his apparently cool demeanour Charles was quite surprised by the outrageous behaviour of his son Lelouch, who had dared to challenge him during his very moment of triumph. He would not, however, let such a minor inconvenience prevent him from bringing his master plan to completion. One last step…one last step to finally free the world from the oppressive gods who threatened it!

"Step back, you failure of a son" he ordered menacingly. "I will deal with you in due time, but for now, there are more important matters I must attend to".

Yet he could not help but feel a little uneasy, for he had noticed an unmistakeable glint of madness in his son's eyes, hidden behind the same mark of Geass which probably consisted in its very cause.

"Your Majesty" replied Lelouch, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Do not fear for your beloved son, because he will overcome your immortality. You see, he has not come alone to pay you this little visit; instead he has brought a memento of his past which he would like to share with you".

He then opened his arms and laughed out loud, a maniacal edge slowly creeping upon his voice.

"You have been a very distant father, you know Charles; that's why I'm sure you wouldn't know about an interesting acquaintance of mine. Well, I'll let you know, he was quite the empathic fellow. It was almost as if he could read your thoughts!"

The last statement was followed by another fit of hysterical laughter. The Emperor stared at his son with a furrowed brow. He had started to question his sanity after the unfortunate death of his mother, but he had never thought his resentful madness could have reached such a level.

He immediately regained his composure and told him with a bored tone: "Stop spitting out such nonsense and get to the point. You are wasting my time".

"The point is, my dear father" was Lelouch's cheerful answer "I have something for you".

Charles Zi Britannia could only stare in disbelief as the discarded prince reached for something he had concealed under his mantle and turned it on…something nasty.

"Come on, say hello to my little friend!" yelled Lelouch, advancing towards him with Mao's old chainsaw while grinning like a madman. "I'm really curious to see just how immortal you are".

The Emperor was left, for the first time in his life, absolutely speechless.

Lelouch sat on the ground, breathless, and discarded the chainsaw. He could not help but laugh while staring at what was left of his father. "So who's the head of Britannia now?" he asked mockingly.

He was quite taken aback when said head actually replied, with a very, very pissed off voice: "You should be ashamed of yourself, son. Look at me: three pieces? Even your sister Euphemia could have done better".

"This. Can't. Be. REAAAAL!"

AN: I hope you like this cracky fic of mine. I was thinking about how Lelouch intended to confront his father and then I remembered about Mao, so…yeah. It's my first fic in English, so reviews and criticism are very much appreciated.
