For Rivetra Week Day 7- Wish. This will be my last prompt to Rivetra Week, and moving on to the 2nd half of P2D & finals.

Wish

Dandelion Stars

During their break from training, Petra and Levi went out into a quiet spot in a meadow nearby. In this certain spot, this is where dandelions are all seed heads, ready to burst out and every floret to fly in the wind.

"L-Levi?" She calls out as Levi is picking out roses and lavender around.

"What is it?"

"Hey," she picks out a dandelion and ponder," Do you know that dandelions symbolize hope and survival?" She blows the seed head and florets have started to scatter.

She smiles to him as he puts the roses and the lavender to her head. "Levi," she moved her head back to his chest, "Do you think that dandelions look like stars when the seeds are flying? It's like I want to catch one and make a wish. If you got one, what would you wish for?"

"Hmmm…I don't know, I never think of those." He has seen a few dandelion patches in the Underground where the sun would strike, but he never touched them nor does he think of it. The Underground District was such a horrible place to live in, and the people can only think of dying, never seeing the sun.

And yet, he made it out along with Farlan and Isabel. They can finally see the sun and hope that they get to live up ground and see it everyday. It's an unfortunate fate that they have to die, and he can never forgive those Titans.

"Levi, break's over, let's get going." She took off the flowers from her head and arranges them into a bouquet. They went back to the training grounds and resumed their activities as normal.

At the 57th Expedition

Her body was found looking up by the tree, blood splattered everywhere around her. She was taken by the carriages and thrown away afterwards when the Titans chased the survivors. He had no choice, he had released the order because it's too late.

With his sharp eyes, he spotted a dandelion seed floating in front of him. He catches it instantly, makes a silent wish, and blows it away. He may not have known what he would wish for in the past, but now his wish is that that would never had happened in the first place.

A/N- I heard this superstition when I was I kid that when you catch that kind of seed, you'll make a wish and it comes true. I don't know if people from other parts of the Philippines have heard this story, but there is. I'll never know if it's real, but I still keep doing that anyway for fun.
