A/N: Sorry I've been away on hiatus. Been busy and honestly, very sick. But since I have nothing else to do but enjoy my laptop time, got another story going. Quite honestly, I had this done in Summer School.
Disclaimer: Does now own Naruto.
Sasuke POV
Complete Innocence
X.x.X
I felt fingers run up my forearm. To be honest, it's a touch I crave for but fear at the same time. It was a light but familiar touch. The touch was simple and warm.
What was I suppose to do? I couldn't stop her from her "entertainment" or else she'll cry. I hate seeing her cry. It's rather unfair. The way she uses the "puppy dog" look on everyone. The way her green eyes swell up in tears and her usually smiling lips turn into an adorable pout. Oh, and it doesn't help that her pale cheeks turn into a flush-like blush. She's just too cute for words. It makes me confused. Which is why she's so cute annoying, in my opinion.
Apparently, her mother and my mother are best friends. So, whenever her mother is busy with whatever mothers do, she comes over and "plays" with me. My mother calls this a "play date" but I rather call her my play mate. You know, since mate sounds more set-in-stone...
*cough*
I felt a soothing shiver run up my spine. Again, the feeling her fingers are beginning again. This time, it's coming down. She has this feather-like touch that makes me feel all warm and fuzz-
NO! I meant, it makes me feel weird. I'm eight and she's seven! How could I let this little sweet, adorable, pretty little girl...
EEK!
She's running back up again.
Don't scream.
Don't scream.
Don't scream.
Don't scream.
Don't scream.
...
Think of something gruesome.
Times-Outs.
Bed Time.
Spinach.
No more tomatoes.
...
I can't give in, I just CAN'T!
Got to be an Uchiha. Uchiha's don't—
"EEK!"
I screamed.
Loudly.
Oh gawd.
Thoroughly embarrassed, I covered my face with my free hand. I heard my mother dropping the knife and her footsteps approaching the living room which was connected to the kitchen by a door. She busted into the living room loudly and looked around with concern, but when she what was going on, her concerned look was replaced by a sly and happy gaze.
I heard my mother giggle before she jokingly asked, "Sakura, what are you doing with Sasuke?"
"Playing Itsy Bitsy Spider." She replied in her overly sweet voice.
My mother laughed.
"Sasuke looks afraid, maybe he needs a kiss."
Within seconds after that suggestion, Sakura then proceeded to kiss my cheek.
My face turned tomato red.
I wished my hand covered more of my face. I think I might go hide in the playground again.
