Always Thought I'd See You Again
The words that he had spoken when he had gotten down on one knee and proposed to her were probably the sweetest words that he had ever said to Winry in the many years that they'd known each other.
She couldn't believe what he had said, that those words were directed at her. Winry had tears in her eyes as she replayed the words over and over in her mind – still not having answered Ed, who was now very nervous.
"The whole time I was on the other side of the Gate, I thought about you Winry. I knew; I knew in my heart that somehow, no matter what it took, I'd see you again and I swore I'd ask you to marry me."
"Winry…?" Edward questioned nervously.
The blonde female returned to the present moment with a smile. "Yes. Edward Elric, I will marry you."
