Don't take this seriously. I do not believe this happened, and I am not trying to prove it happened. It's just a parody, if you like, or an interesting read. I may continue with more little rip-offs ;D. I have yet to decide.
The Book of Creation/The Book of Oriana
In the beginning, there was hate.
A swirling velvet darkness. No sound, no colour. Simply nothing. One may have said it was like a dark blanket, enveloping all.
Then, there was a rip made in this fine blanket. Only small, but enough to let a crack of light shine through. And with this light came love.
It fluttered over the darkness, lighting everything up and brightening the shadows cheerfully. Love and hate chased eachother around the nothingness and finally collided and became one. This created Oriana. Oriana was the mixture of hate and love, the combination of virtue and flaw. Oriana was the first human.
The rip that had been made had grown so large in this time that there was but a small patch of darkness left. Oriana, not noticing this, lay on the blanket darkness and slept. The light folded over her and became infinity. This light was God.
God looked down on Oriana, a mixture of light and dark, and he fell in love. Oriana became a Goddess and the wife of God, forever to be loved and cherished. But Oriana grew weary of her routine. She became bored and fell into sadness.
Seeing this, God was displeased. He worked on things to amuse her. He created fire to warm her and dance for her. He created water to bubble and sing fir her. He created air to flutter around her and play with her. He created earth and metal to ground her and steady her.
This amused Oriana for a while. She was happy with the elements
and entertained. But eventually she again grew weary of them.
God decided he should create something larger and bigger for
her amusement. For a year, he worked away endlessly at a new game for Oriana.
He made people in her form and placed them on a land decorated with the
elements. And then he made another type of person in his form and placed
them on the land too. He called this game 'the Universe'.
He put it in a round bottle, which Oriana could peer into every day. He gave her the power to decide what happened in the game.
Unfortunately Oriana's dark side came out and she enjoyed tormenting the people in the game. She created new elements to wreack havoc -- sin, disease, and death. Seeing the horror that Oriana was creating, God tried to stop her. But Oriana was clever and ran away with the bottle. She became the moon. God chased after her and attempted to catch her. He became the sun.
And that, my friends, is how the world was created.
