The Angel
Don't own. And probably never will. I'm not a pessimist- I'm a realist.

xXx

Lies fall from the lips of saviours.
The angel endeavoring to be human,
the spaceman betraying her love
the machine that walks the universe.

I am going to die. And you must let me.

Rays of light destroy on the edge of silence.
But the angel has a plan,
another secret to add to his name,
on top of the countless others.

But of course, they are secrets. I cannot tell you.

The last words of a man being shot are earnest.
Crying to the loved to remain away,
whispering soothing words to the lover,
speaking half-truths with desperation.

Stay away! It's starting...

Caring is never an advantage.
The fictional genius is correct,
the angel must admit,
because caring has only ever killed him.

This is my reward?! I could do so much more!

No man is immortal.
Everything has it's end,
and everything dies in time,
but that time can be postponed.

I have a time machine! I can go whenever I like!

Friends will not hate theirs for not knowing.
They will hate them for their lack of self,
for the experiences they just as well haven't shared,
for the pain they no longer know.

You're not him. He was older than you.

What do you mean?

My Doctor. You're not him.

Those who truly care will not give up hope.
They will destroy the ending paragraphs,
refuse to read the final chapter,
as if these actions can create a happy ending.

Why do you tear out the last page?

I hate endings.

Sometimes it is better to not know.
If the end is nigh,
one would prefer to remember the good times,
than worry about those yet to come.

Why must you keep secrets?

I can't tell you that.

A saviour will sacrifice themselves for others.
Because though the angel may not owe them,
and would eventually be able to forget them,
he cannot stand aside and watch as lives are taken.

My friends have always been the best of me.

But that doesn't mean they don't need you!

Anonymity is a wandering man's fail-safe.
Those who walk the earth,
without name nor home,
are less likely to hurt those they leave behind.

I'm taking the time to delete myself from your databases. It will be as though I never existed.

A good plan will have the desired end result.
The angel will once again walk among friends,
once again have a love that never wavers,
but wandering men always leave people behind.

Is that what happens? You just... leave us behind and forget about us?

I have to leave everybody behind - but I never forget. Not one day, I swear it.

... Then that's good enough for me.

I don't think that this is as good as my Sherlock one... *shrugs*. But what I think doesn't matter. Review and tell me your opinion! Please? I beg?

Ta-ta (for now),
LoS :D

PS: Review!
