Chapter One
BOOM!
As the smoke and dust cleared, Grubbs was standing and brushing the dust off his clothes and making sure that all of his parts were still attached. "Yo… Dervish… I didn't break anything important, did I?" There was no answer. "Derv the perv… Where are…" He stopped. He was standing in the middle of a small clearing in a wooded area. "Damn… I guess screwing up that spell transported me… Somewhere…" He looked around, unsure of where he was, trying to place himself.
"Well… This is… Great," Grubbs sat down on a downed tree and sighed. "I bet that there is no one around here either… The sun is setting too… Christ."
He stood and began walking, hoping that he would eventually come up on maybe a hunting cabin or some random house. Before he could realize it, he was sprawled out on the ground. He looked behind him to see what he had tripped over. "What the hell is a coffin doing out in the middle of the damn woods…" He started to get up when strong hands clasped the back of his neck and grabbed his shirt. "W-w-woah! Hey!"
"Who are you and why are you here?" an orange haired man growled. The man had a scar on his cheek and that hair… It was the color of a carrot… "Answer me!" The man boomed.
"Gr-gru-gubbs Grady…" he stammered. He generally didn't get scared… But there was something about the quickness and gruffness of this man that really got to him.
"Mr. Crepsley… I think he is just a kid…" A teenage boy said from nearby. "I think he just happened to show up here."
Grubbs nodded, well… As best he could nod with the orange haired man, which he could guess to be Mr. Crepsley, holding onto his neck. The man had extremely long nails that dug into his neck. "I… I don't know where I am…"
"Well. It seems we will have to figure that out for you," the orange haired man said with a smirk.
