She still saw him watching her. When she was around, her would feel depressed and lose his happy disposition.

Every day, he kept watching Sally. He kept waiting for the moment that he could have her again, yet someone was always there to love him. He just couldn't see it.

Then, one day, she saw him staring straight at her. They were all alone in the pit of the Cafeteria, and he was holding a knife. Amy jumped on his back, pinning him to the ground. She had saved Sally's life. The squirrel ran to her boyfriend Shadow. He held her tight, never giving Sonic another look. Sonic did nothing but stare at them with emptiness and hatred in his eyes. He hated Shadow. He hated him.

At night, Amy would dream of Sonic. Then, Sally would show up, and they would start dating again. What about Amy? What about her?

"If only you had", it won't get me anywhere now
I wouldn't go anywhere even if it could be

It was unfair. She and Sonic would get close. They would be hanging out, and then Sally, he friend, would come back for him. She doesn't know that Amy has fallen for him, though. She could never tell Sally that. They're the best of friends. It would tear them apart. It's hard to push love aside, though.

"Let's do it" + "How do we?" + "Ready go" = Suicide

She wondered what type of guy he was in the dating world. She wondered what the real reason for Sally leaving Sonic was. What if he was dangerous or a pervert? She wasn't going to give in, yet. Would he love her if she did? Then, she could never say yes to that. She would remain true to the way things should be, and stay a virgin until marriage.

What if she tried to distance herself from Sonic? Would that keep Sally and him happy? He would only grow more and more suicidal. She had ruined everything by leaving Mobius' hero. He isn't the hedgehog he once was.

She felt jealous. She wanted to make Sonic only look at her. Sally would continue to hurt him if he kept staying around her, wishing for her to take him back even if he would never voice such a thing. It was up to her.

In the end

"It would take a hell of a lot to make me go back to her." That's what he had said. He had noticed that Amy didn't like seeing Sally and Shadow together. She couldn't help it, though. It was Sally's fault that she had come to want Sonic's love. It was all her fault. She hated her for it.
