A/N: Written because I find Severus Snape's death so pathetic unless it was intentional since he had nothing else to live for and Dumbledore's reason for allowing him to teach lacking despite his role as a spy, after all he could have been caretaker or the deputy headmaster instead. The omake was the original but I doubt Snape would have left anything material to Harry, it would be far too sentimental. Overall I just want to know in the reviews if you'd bother, does this sound like Snape?

Hate me as it's the only way I can help you. Hate me as I represent the Death Eaters.
Because a hero cannot hesitate. If you could see a trace of humanity in me you might believe that other Death eaters might be like me.
Like your mother who saw the best in everyone and who couldn't take a life.
She must have saw me in every Death eater. A lonely child who craved power so that they could never be hurt again. I should have died instead for if we hadn't been friends, she wouldn't have hesitated and lived.
Don't be like Dumbledore who couldn't hate anyone but himself. Who foolishly tried to help everyone and blamed himself for every mistake. In trying to save everyone but himself he helped no one.
So just learn to hate. It'll make the whole war a lot simpler if you could simply think of war as Deatheaters and Voldemort as evil and better off dead for everyone's sake.
