Title: The End of What You Know

Summary: A teenager wakes up to find out the last three years of his life were a lie. How does he cope with it? What happened to the people he had called friends?
Author's note: I did take an idea out of Star Wars.

"Shawn hurry," a young woman hissed as she ran through the halls. She had tossed her shoes in her bag as she ran. They had to be quiet but quick.
"I'm coming Martha," he said into her ear. "I nearly ran into General Morris on the way. He did not look happy."
"When does he?" Jake chimed in. "I haven't found them yet."
"You think they moved them," Shawn asked.
"Comm silence," Martha said as she entered a new corridor.
She was answered by two clicks. She looked at the information next to the door.
Subject: 37
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Time until termination: 8 hours 13 minutes 13 seconds
Martha didn't know whether to be glad to know that she had found him in time or shocked that this one was being terminated. The files had shown he had a lot of potential. For most of the time they had let him lead. She supposed they were all expendable to General Morris and his men.
She swiped her keycard and entered the room.
"Oh good you found him," Jake said from behind her. "Shawn said he's only found empty rooms."
"We found him in time," she said, "he only had 8 hours." She stepped aside to let him hit the codes that they would need to release the teenager.
"This is NSS two to teleport on my mark," she said into her watch. Jake looked at her in surprise. "I need to find Shawn and get out of here."
"But…"
"That's an order Jake," she said. She helped him move the teenager away from the table.
"Agent TCC and one human teleporting now."
She turned away as they disappeared in a flash of light.
"Shawn," she whispered.
There was silence for a long moment. "I haven't found anything yet," he said.
"We've got to go," she said. "We've found one and he's already been teleported. We've got to go now!"
"Where are you?" Shawn asked.
"Room 37."
"I'll be right there," he said and was silent again.
Martha started pacing wondering what was taking her partner so long.
The door opened and in stepped Shawn. He moved aside and General Morris entered the room too.
Martha instinctively reached for her blaster and Shawn used his telekinesis to pull it out of her hand.
"Why Shawn?" she demanded.
Shawn didn't answer.
General Morris pulled out his own blaster and pointed it at Martha.
"You may have gotten Oliver but you are dead," he said and pulled the blaster.
"Ship teleport NSS out of here!" Shawn yelled as he turned and fired the blaster at Morris. Morris went down but not before shooting Shawn.
"Override! Override code…" Martha didn't finish as she was gone in a flash of light.
The last thing she saw was Shawn falling to the ground.
