Disclaimer: I don't own Big Time Rush, The X Factor, or Locked Out of Heaven by Bruno Mars.

We were in the middle of the "Party All Night" World Tour and after being on the road for 3 months... things get really boring. So one night, we cracked open a couple of bears and channel surfed when we were on the US leg of our tour. I think we were somewhere in between Utah and New Mexico and we ended up watching an episode of The X Factor.

"Thank you Jessie Ortiz for that-" Mario said hesitantly "it was some performance." Mario smiled to the camera and Khloe helped Jessie off the stage.

The cameras turn to the judges panel and pan into Demi Lovato's face as she introduced the next act, "This girl is one of the most dedicated contestants in this competition. She's beautiful, kind, and she always has a smile on her face. Give it up for Lana Dash singing "Locked Out of Heaven"."

That was when I first saw her. This olive skin girl with long black wavy hair wearing a see through fitted top and a black bralette thing underneath with blue jean shorts with a black flannel wrapping around her waist, black tights and a bowler hat. She had this kind "rebel girl" vibe you'd see in those 90's movies where the rebel girl gets the popular jock or whatever. But man, I couldn't peel my eyes off her. I was praying that her performance was good.

The cameras pointed at Lana and she smiled to the cameras as she patted her waist to the beat of the drums and shook her hips. Right before the song began she ripped the microphone away from the stand and started singing.

"Shit." I muttered.

She moved her hips to the music and tossed her head to the side letting her hair fling into the air. She grinned to the camera again and jumped up and down during the last chorus.

I grabbed my iPhone and google searched Lana Dash. Personal photos, photos of her past performances came up then a listing of similar results. I checked out her bio on the X Factor's website and found her twitter and followed her instantly.

A few minutes passed when I got an reply that said " HeffronDrive I'm such a big fan! I can't believe you're following me! Thank you!3". It was from Lana herself.

" LanaDash saw your performance tonight with the boys. loved it. good luck xx ;)"

One tweet led to another tweet and we ended up DM-ing each other then exchanging numbers. I could not get my mind of her and the boys knew it.

I wonder how long it will be until we finally meet.

A/N: So what do you think?
