Fight

Axel chucked his Struggle baton at Roxas, forgetting that it wouldn't automatically return to him. Roxas smirked, stepping to the side to avoid it, and charged at the unarmed older teen, expecting an easy win now. Axel, seeing his smirk, replied in kind, and dodged at the last moment, quickly rolling to his weapon. Regaining his confidence, Axel flipped the baton in a flashy but pointless spin, taunting the younger boy. Roxas pouted slightly, a bit abashed that he'd thought to win so easily. Then the two began to circle, waiting for the other to make their move.

Finally, Roxas struck. Axel suddenly found himself being driven back by an onslaught of rapid blows. It was all he could do for a moment to block the attacks. He searched quickly for an opportunity to take the upper hand and finally found it. Quick as a snake, Axel tripped Roxas, attempting to send the blonde sprawling. But Roxas would not be so easily knocked down. If he was falling, then Axel was going with him! Roxas grabbed the elder's shirt, using his momentum to drag him down as well.

A small cloud of dust arose when the two impacted the ground. Pushing himself onto his forearms, Axel muttered, "Guess I deserved that."

"Yeah, you did. Tripping your opponent is cheating, Axel." Roxas snapped and glared up at him. It was then that Roxas understood his location. He had fallen backwards, pulling Axel with him…and therefore Axel was now lying on top of him on the ground. His face flushed pink against his will.

Axel could not help but notice, with his face no more than a foot from the other's. He smirked, having already realized what the other had only just worked out. "Hmm? Something the matter, Roxas?" he drawled, taking far too much pleasure from the other's embarrassment.

"Yes, would you please get off me?" Roxas avoided the redhead's eyes. He didn't think he could handle the evident amusement in the bright emerald orbs.

"No, I don't think I will. I'm rather comfortable at the moment." Axel watched the blonde look anywhere but his face, and to be honest, it was starting to piss him off a bit. "Roxas, look sharp!" he said in a completely different tone, startling the boy enough to meet his eyes. Axel responded, "Ah, finally. You know, you're beginning to turn crimson. Why don't I give you a real reason to be red?" Axel grinned before shifting his weight and moving forward, capturing Roxas' lips in a soft but firm kiss.

A moment later, when Axel pulled back again, Roxas' face shone with such a bright shade he looked as though he would become a traffic light. "What…what was that for?"

"Do I need a reason to kiss the boy I like? Now come on. Think you can do better?" Axel smirked again, knowing Roxas hated to turn down a challenge.

Sure enough, a small fire of competition entered the blonde's eyes as his blush started to fade. He grinned, "You're on!"
