-Prologue-
A White ghostly she-cat padded behind a Grey tom. She made no sound as she walked, the Tom halted in front of a old wooden fence he jumped over the lowest part, the trees above made the sun shine on his Grey pelt making it golden he layed down in the mist of the newly sprouted Catmint. The she cat when up to him and put her tail around his shoulders "i will wait for you forever Jayfeather."
Jayfeather woke in a rock den snow out side he stretched his head and scented Millie Foxleap and Dovewing they had the smell of green cough prickling around them he called to HollyFern his apprentice or the second medicine cat, Jayfeather flinched at the name of his dead sister but they looked nothing alike, Hollyleaf had black fur and HollyFern had the same tabby brown fur as her father Bramblestar and the same green eyes as her mother Squirrelflight "Go see if you can find any catmint ask if you can bring your brother and Lionblaze"Jayfeather instructed as she poked her head from the cleft "okay" she nodded and ran out. He sensed a different cat and this time he could see her, "HalfMoon" he breathed She gazed at him intently "im so sorry my love" and she vanished Jay feather just had time to hear the sound of a Bager and HollyFern's screech. No! he thought and raced out of his den.
