Summary: Every cell has a story; 6411-U is no different. Follow his story from when he awakens to where he stands today, a strong neutrophil with a somewhat quirky personality. 6411-U must discover more about himself, overcomes challenges and be there for his brother. Life isn't going to be easy as a neutrophil but with the support from U-1146, there isn't anything 6411-U can't achieve.
Chapter 1
I sat in silence, surrounded by the darkness of this abyss I was trapped inside. I waited patiently…surely someone would notice I was here and come and find me? That was the only thought that kept me going…the hope that someone would come and find me…drag me away from this never-ending darkness and pull me towards the light I so craved. Every so often I looked around to see if there was any change…but there never was. I was left alone with my thoughts and my questions that never had answers.
Who am I?
What am I?
Why am I trapped here?
Where am I?
When will I be found?
Those five were the most common questions that drifted in my mind…the five important questions to me.
That was when I felt something…a sharp feeling that radiated around me and it hurt. Something had hurt me? But I was here alone in this void I call home. I felt it once more but this time it was a lot worse and all over the place, each hit getting harder and harder. I didn't like this! I can't even defend myself! This pain attacked me over and over, hitting at many places on me as possible but I felt something bubbling inside of me. A warm feeling that seemed to override the pain that I was feeling. The warmth became stronger and stronger…I hate this pain and I wanted it to go! I had to do something! The warm feeling turned into a flame inside me, a flame that wanted to come out and hurt what was hurting me! That was when I saw it…
A small white orb started to breath through the darkness of this abyss. I stared at it. It was bright yet warm too but it was new. I started to head towards the light…maybe I could finally leave the abyss I've been trapped in for so long? I picked up the pace as I started to move closer towards the light…it grew larger as I approached it, getting larger and larger and it filled me with more hope. I felt the light touch me and I knew I was getting closer to leaving the abyss behind me. It was scary yet exciting…to leave what I have known for a long time and experience something new. I grew blinded as I continued through the light…
I was out of the abyss and somewhere I didn't know.
