(A/N) Well, here's another one of my poems. It was written after
"Send me to the Stars". I'm trying to fit time to write my fic "Once Upon a
Time in China," but nowadays I'm pretty busy with some projects for school.
I have an outline of chapter 2, though, so things should move smoothly
after I get page one in. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this one. I didn't
start out writing in this form, but it's Sakura's words to Syaoran. You
choose the setting, and time.
Lastly, I thank Isilelen, miss_k, sparkle00 and Ayel for your
reviews. ^_~ They made me really happy! Well, on with the poem!
Stay Strong :: by Sang
Let me hold that burning candle
'Fore the light flickers out
Let me marvel at the beauty
Of the life that's all about
Though times are always bad
Though darkness rises to reign
You may find that with faith at heart
The sun may rise again
Stand tall, stand proud
Don't forget all for which you long
Hold fast and steady to your courage
Don't forget your feelings strong
It takes a lot reach the mountain
And sail the ocean deep
To fly through storms and hurricanes
And walk a road not sweet
Know this through your journey
And may it keep your thoughts bright:
For shadows to ever exist in the world,
There must always be a light.
There you have it! I hope you guys like this one. BTW, sparkle00, I'm
not one to write haikus simply because, I haven't learned how. But I want
to try it out. Maybe once I've got my projects finished by the second week
