So this story is one where I took the scene from 358/2 with Xion, Roxas, and Axel and put in Sora, Kairi, and Riku. This is one of my favorite scenes in 358/2 and i wanted to do it with another trio so...
Here it is, and yes its very short.
The sun set on the gorgeous beach. Sora, Kairi and Riku sat on their favorite tree, the one that curves into the perfect sitting tree. Sora and Kairi sat next to each other, while Riku stood his arms behind his head. Everything seemed perfect, until Kairi broke the silence.
"Is it that I'm not supposed to exist?" She sounded so sad. The three friends knew that she had been facing some demons lately, but neither Sora nor Riku thought that they were this bad.
"Well, what do you want to do, Kairi?" Riku asked. Riku turned back to look at the water.
"I want…I want to be with you two" her hands formerly at her side, came together. She clasped them tightly together. Sora placed his hands on hers.
"Then stay with us" He said. Sora and Riku looked at her with hopeful eyes.
"I can't…not the way I am now. But what would it take for me to be like you?" Neither Sora nor Riku could answer her. So they just sat in silence.
Kairi did get better, slowly, with the love of her friends. It was a long painful process but the their friendship saw them through it, and to this day they still sit on the beach and watch the sunset.
