Ok so this is just a little one shot of a moment in 6th year that was never in the books. It's pretty short but I hope you guys like it. Harry and Ginny were standing by the fireplace in the Gryffindor common room holding hands. They had been going out for a while now and news had spread pretty fast that they were dating. Harry then stopped and leaned into Ginny for a little peck on the lips but Ginny grabbed him so that he couldn't pull back. He didn't mind of course, in fact he enjoyed it. To soon though they had to pull away in order to breathe.
"I love you," Ginny whispered in his ear.
"I love you too," he said back without any hesitation. "I think that this is the first time anyone has ever told me that," he then added.
"Really?" she said not in pity but in sadness.
"Well if the Dursleys ever said it then I don't remember it but I doubt it."
"They better watch it or I will hex them into obliviation," she snarled.
"Relax Ginny, at least I have someone who will love me now," he said with a little smile playing on his lips.
"You better get used to hearing it Potter because I will never get tired of saying it," she said smiling back and pecking him on the lips. This time he trapped her and kissed her back. They stayed that way until they were out of breath again.
"So are you sure no one has ever told you they love you?"
"What do you expect Ginny, I don't have a family." he said a little irritated
"I will be your family now," she said and with that Harry leaned in and they kissed once more until nightfall where they parted into the darkness.
