She watched him walk down the street, she moved silently after him and froze when he turned around. He tilted his head and turned back around to look at the person calling out to him. He waved his hand and moves to his friend.

"I don't get your fasination with those statues, man, they are creepy," his companion states.

The man smiles, "I like them, they're pretty. Plus, you moved to New York City, Ray they're everywhere. Don't you have a date?" Ray goes wide-eyed.

"I forgot! I'll catch you later, man." Ray claps his hand on the mans shoulder and rushes off. The man shakes his hand and continues to walk down the road. She waits until she can't feel any eyes on her and begins to follow the cemetry wall and the man. She watches the man and listens to him whistle,She smiles inwardly. He turns to glance over his down the street he walking along. Women walk pass him smiling at him, she eyes their poofy and curly hair, she'll never understand humans she thinks. He passes the cemetry opening and she moves to the entrance, if she reached out she could touch him but she knows if she does he will be taken from her thrown back in time to where she can't reach him, the curse of her people.

He stops to speak to a homeless man and give him a couple coins from his pocket. He smiles at the man and starts to walk across the road. A car comes speeding down the road and he keeps walking lost in his own world. She moves forward and reaches out instuctually a man shouts and the man jumps back coming in contact with her hand. Suddenly he is gone and she lets out a silent scream and can see others looking at her, she dissapears back into the cemetery to grieve.

She searches for other Angels and asks each of them about the man she lost, finally after searching for years, she finds a Angel who stole his energy. The Angel points her to a above ground tomb, she moves slowly towards the tomb and sees his name for the first time. Michael she thinks, she drapes herself on the steps rests her head on the side of his tomb where his head is and grieves for him.
