This is my first Twilight Fan Fiction. I am a huge Twilight addict, and I love writing. This is a prologue, and the chapters ahead will be longer. Keep in mind that in a few days, my new account will put the story up and this account will no longer continue the story. Just a heads up!

P.S. Renesmee has no last name in this story, just so you know!

Prologue: A New School & A Collision

Renesmee slammed the door of her black Honda shut, her book bag on one shoulder, and she locked the car before turning on her heels. Fur boots crunched small pieces of ice as she walked toward the school building. Her breath was visible in the cold winter air. Yanking open the heavy doors of the school, Renesmee stepped inside. The sound of laughing, giggling, yelling, and gossiping filled her ears even before she had entered.

Immediately she regretted going to school later in the year; all heads turned to the half human, half vampire girl after the doors of the school banged shut. Whispers poured out of the mouths of many students as they gazed at her. She was quite beautiful, with her pale white skin, auburn curls, and deep brown eyes. Mustering up the courage to give a weak smile at the admirers and whisperers, Renesmee shly walked through the halls, glancing at doors in hopes to find the secretary.

At last, Renesmee found the secretary. The door creaked loudly as she opened it. "H-Hello..." Her voice sounded like bells, tinkling softly and melodic, even as she stuttered and sputtered nervously.

The woman - the secretary, Renesmee thought - behind the desk looked about sixty years of age, and she frowned at the girl. "Yes?" She replied sharply, not being able to tear her eyes from the immortally beautiful child before her. Renesmee bit her lip, then answered. "My name is Renesmee. Renesmee Cullen."

The secretary nodded, taking her eyes away from Renesmee reluctantly. After tapping on the computer keys and clicking on the mouse, the woman huffed. Turning to a small, gray box, the woman pulled out a card.

"Here's your schedule, locker number and combination, dearie." She thrusted a small index card toward Renesmee, whom took it gingerly and retreated out of the office. Renesmee, without bothering to pause for a moment, stared at the card, only looking up to find lockers, however none of them was W019, her own.

Not paying much attention, Renesmee was shocked as she tumbled, after colliding with a girl of Renesmee's age.

"Oh!" The girl squeaked, gathering up her own books and pens and sorts. "I'm so sorry!" Without looking up and collecting her own objects, Renesmee shook her head stubbornly. "N-No, it was my fault. I ref-fused to pay any attent-tion at all as to where I was going!" At the objection, the girl looked up, and a small gasp escaped her lips.

And that is when Renesmee finally looked up to observe the girl in front of her.

Shout out to my friend, XxLove at First BitexX, who, on Facebook Roleplay, was Renesmee for quite some time! Love you, girl-o! :3
