This is about Captain Gutt and his crew before they were pirates.

Before He Was a Pirate

Hi! I am just writing a story about Gutt, Gupta, Raz, Silas, etc. before they were pirates. I thought his real name should NOT be Gutt so I called him Leo.

Intro-Chapter 1

Leo and Gupta were playing pirates. They both wanted to become pirates one day. Leo wanted to be Captain Gutt. Gupta wanted to be... Gupta. One day, a friendly bird named Silas flew over to Leo and Gupta. He asked them if he could play, too. Sure, they said. Are we playing pirates, he asked. Ive always wanted to be a pirate! But then, Leos mom dragged him home for dinner. Leos parents had never been nice to him. They liked his brother, Cole, much better. Leo never got presents on his birthday or Christmas, like Cole did.

Suddenly, Leo had an idea.
