Chapter 1: Confussion is nothing new!

This takes place right after the First season of School Rumble anime. (after ep. 26)

Half asleep and dazed, Harima walked into class. Before he could take to his seat, he noticed Tenma was looking at his direction with a clear sign of approval on her face. She smiled and displayed a 'thumb-up' sign at him. His heart skipped a beat. She is so into me, he thought. He wanted to appear right by her side, take her hand, look down in order to gaze into her eyes and whisper Oh, Tenma-chan, your love means so much to me, but he refrained after he has noticed that therewere many people in the class.

Using all the strength that was within him, he said 'Hello Tenma-chan' and received a weird looked from Eri as he approached Tenma's group. Princess is mad at me for some reason today, he thought. But he didn't let that deter his happiness now that Tenma is finally noticing him. Wait, why is Tenma noticing me all of a sudden, he thought, didn't she say she will 'cheer' for him if he confesses to another girl. She, who never think of loving him. She, who shot his heart out of the sky with a 'smoking bang' and forced him to take a little detour out on the open ocean. She, who likes someone else.

Did she come around? Did she finally realize my love for her and are starting to love me?

This is making me so happy and confused.

"I'm so glad that you're my sister's B-O-Y friend." Tenma said as she winced at him, interrupting Harima's train of thought.

Selectively listening, Harima quickly interpreted the sentence as 'I glad you're my.…..BOYFRIEND.' Fireworks all started at once skyrocketing Harima into heaven.

His happiness was short-lived however as confusion took over. Since when did he become her boyfriend, not that it matters, for he was filled with joy. But at long last he was forced to replay the sentence he's been waiting to hear his whole life and discovered a crucial error.

"Your sister's?" He asked at last.

"Oh, you're sly pretender. Don't tell me you forgot her name." Tenma said, nudging her elbow at his ribs.

"Yakumo' name?"

"Yeah."

"What about her?"

"She is your girlfriend, baldy." Eri interrupted in a sour voice. Not happy at all with what has just transpired.

"Yakumo is my girlfriend?" Harima retorted very much surprised just as Hanai walked into the room.

Yakumo is YOUR GIRLFRIEND? Hanai blurted out just astonished as Harima was at this new development.

"Uh-huh" Tenma said. "Don't they a cute couple?"

"God must be playing a very cruel joke on me" both Harima and Hanai thought at once.

"What's the meaning of this, Harima Kenji? You'll pay for this if it is true. I will make you suffer each and everyday starting NOW" Hanai threatened and was about to throw some serious punches at Harima direction when he was restrained by Mikoto who was prepared for this very event.

"It's true. Yakumo is dating Harima." Replied Eri as she walked out of the classroom. Apparently, she has had enough of this conversation. In the hallway, she bumped into Yakumo who is walking toward class 2-C.

"Speaking of the…."

"Um…"

"Your boyfriend is waiting." Eri said.

Yakumo can sense some hostility and a trace of envy in Eri's voice.

What was she talking about? Does she mean Harima? Does she like him? Yakumo thought. They danced together at the Sports Festival. And why does she think I am Harima's girlfriend?
